Kathy, I did not get the registration email thru splitcoast either. Sorry for the delay, I have been way too busy and haven't been on here lately. Even worse I haven't even thought about my card yet :(.
Oh, and JoAnn, I did not spend $30 for Set Sail, only $27, the rest was shipping. So there. I do have my limits LOL.

Kathy, the dessert list isn't long enough! Okay, well, maybe it is. Okay well, it is. But you know we all love dessert and we always need an excuse for dessert............I am going to do 2 kinds of tea sandwiches. I had one with Cucumber and cream cheese recently that was delicious. So I will make lots of little sandwiches for everyone to eat with a dainty finger in the air. We can prectend we are getting ready for the new Princess Wedding across the sea......maybe we should all wear big jewelry? And Lynn, Joanne and Mary are going to behave and not use WONDERFUL OLD STAMPS that everyone has to go on the hunt for!

This is my first card swap and I am so excited. I was with Mary and JoAnn over the weekend and I was rubbing it in that I already have my card designed and I wouldn't show them. I just need to finish getting it ready. I am looking forward to looking through the yard sale goodies. I am fairly new to stamping and already hooked!!! Thanks to Mary and now JoAnn

I've spent much of my free time over the past week trying to put the idea in my head onto paper for the Swap. After about 6 tries, I think I have a winner! But, of course, now I don't have enough of the right color ribbon for 25 kits, so it's back to Micheal's in Bowie in the next couple of days as they have the ribbon I need in their dollar bin. I "knew" I should have picked up multiple rolls today...I just had a gut feeling...oh well...

Jane, you can rest easy, I used a current set this time, you won't have to go hunting on my account. I am very proud of myself for finally getting my card done, cut, bagged this weekend and not having to do it at the very last minute. I can't promise I will behave however, you know Jo Ann is a terrible influence on me LOL!

My card is all cut and bagged. Just need to do the directions and pack everything for the SBS. I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces plus a lot of new ones.
Looks like we will have a rowdy (Jane-LOL), oh I mean lively crowd on Saturday. I am so looking forward to seeing a lot of you again and also we have some new faces.
Just a few reminders:
Swap starts at 9am, doors open at 8:30am.
We have 10 Ladies signed up to bring Yard Sale items. Please check to see that I have Yard Sale or YS after your name, which means you are signed up. Limited to 20 items per seller and please be mindful that the Yard Sale tables are shared. You can always place some stuff under the table in a box because people will rummage thur it (Jane again - LOL). If anyone else wants to bring Yard Sale items, please let me know ASAP to make sure I have enough tables up for everyone.
OK, is everyone's cards ready????? Doh! Mine still isn't but I am working on it as well as everyone's baggies and the prizes and name tags, etc. Where did the time go???

Directions to Maryland City Volunteer Fire Department Hall located at
3498 Fort Meade Road, Laurel, MD 20724:
From Baltimore and points north of Baltimore: Take I95 south to I895 south (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) thru Harbor Tunnel ($2 toll). Take 295 South towards Washington. Exit at 198 and keep right towards Laurel. Thru 4 traffic lights (4th light is Whiskey Bottom Rd). At 4th light is Starting Gate Liquor store and next right after that is the Fire Department. Turn in and park to the right of the building.
From Points South of Washington: Take I95 north over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Continue and exit at 295 north to Baltimore. Exit at 198 west to Laurel. Thru 4 traffic lights (4th light is Whiskey Bottom Rd). At 4th light is Starting Gate Liquor store and next right after that is the Fire Department. Turn in and park to the right of the building.
From points west of Laurel: Come in 198 east thru Laurel (thru intersections of Rt 1 and 197). Pass new Amish Market (on right), pass Laurel Race Track entrance (on left). Thru the lights at Brockbridge Road and Old Line Ave. You will pass the fire house on the left. At next light (Whiskey Bottom Road) make a U turn and the Fire House entrance will be right after the liquor store.
Side doors will be open for you at 8:30am.

I am looking for some more magnetic ribbons for my vehicles since the ones I got recently have already fallen apart. Looking for yellow ribbon, camo ribbon, I/We support our troops ribbon, any or all of the above and I can't find them anywhere these days. If they are still available on base can someone let me know price and then maybe pick me up a couple?? Please send me a private message.

Right now I'm down for a "vegan something". Is anyone else interested in a vegan main dish like noodles with peanut sauce and veggies, or a big veggie salad? Or would you prefer banana bread?

Seriously, you will have a great time. We are a very fun loving group of Ladies. Its like a nice tossed salad with a few nut thrown in for extra crunch - LOL. (No names inserted here but they know who they are ;-)
