Default 2nd Annual Frederick, MD Shoebox Swap
Hi Ladies! I am in the process of firming up a location and date for Our Second Shoebox Swap. Please let me know if you are interested - so I can make sure I am looking into the right size venue.
I have calls out to several different places. Thanks! I hope we have a great turnout like last time. It was such a blast!

I'd be interested in this, but my Sept. and Oct. are already full. So if it's later than that, I'd most likely be able to attend.

Just wanted to check in - I am still waiting on return Phone calls from a few Venues.

Default shoebox swap
in the shoebox..you put all of the items needed to make that particular swap....cardstock, ink pads etc......and you have enough supplies for all attending the swap......when you leave a shoebox swap..you will have made one of each brought in from the others...we had one at my home last month ....it was a blast.

Thanks... So you design a card and then make enough "parts" so everyone who attends the swap can assemble a card just like yours. Does sound like fun. I might try doing this sometime after New Year's Day.

Hi Folks! I am so sorry I have been neglecting this thread! I have had so much happen in the past week, I kind of dropped the ball with this!

My DH is most likely going to be deployed with the Fire Department Underwater Rescue and Recovery to Texas, was originally to go to N.O.

And - My 3 y/o had an unexplained Seizure last Monday evening??? never had one before - totally freked me out!

So - I really, truly appologize that this was lost in the shuffle of priorty!

Anyway - if there is anyone that would like to take this ball and run with it - I would be truly grateful! I have so much on my plate right now, I don't know if I can handle this too!

Aren't you the night owl who I buy all my retired sets from? (or so it seems...) VERY MUCH enjoying the craft pads BTW...not sure if I opened one yet <grin>

I'm in northern Silver Spring, MD (as you may remember) maybe 30 minutes from Fredneck, as I fondly refer to it.

LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

There's also a newbie floating around here that just moved to Silver Spring from somewhere in the midwest...we should get her in gear too!

I just moved to Baltimore a few months ago and became a demo at the end of Aug. I would like to know more about the shoe box swap. When and where???
