That's it... if any of these items belong to you, send me a PM with your address so I can mail it back to you!
Also, did anyone leave behind their Halloween votive candle thing that Mary Jo designed? There was an extra on the tables. And, there was an extra French door card that Becky (belledancr) designed... the green speckled card with the window and the acetate inside. Is anyone missing theirs or is that an extra that Becky left behind because she had to leave before everyone was done with her project?
Again, just a reminder if you all have time to get a thank you out to Don and Deb Tkacz for their part in the awesome location we had to stamp at and their hard work in preparing and clean up! You can PM me or MommaPatti for their address! Thanks!
I just talked to Megan. The scrubby pad is her friend Pat's. With the PV initials. So she is going to call Pat and tell her it was found either tonight or tomorrow you should hear back from her. Megan also had a request for the next one to be in the beginning of March. She is a demo and Feb. is still SAB so she will be pretty busy. Thanks, Pam
Count me in for next time! Sorry I had to miss this one! I live in Copley, just west of Akron and I would have love to come yesterday! I will be keeping my "eye" out for the next one!

It was so great to meet all of you and of course I had a HUGE blonde moment and forgot to make the sunflower card:( How could I forget that? Oh well my loss....I still haven't unpacked....
Thanks to Patti & Tammy for organizing and for Don & Deb for cleaning up.....glad everyone made it home safely and can't wait for the one in the early spring/late winter!!!
good morning ladies!! I am sooo glad to have so many NEW friends!! Had a terrific time on Saturday and made sooo many cool things. I agree...we need to start at an earlier time and 10 a.m. sounds like a good one. Late Feb./early March sounds great too. The food that everyone brought was awesome and the projects I am anxious to duplicate!!
Thanks Deb and Don for all their hard work...it was a really nice place to work. Thanks to Tammy and MommaPatti too for all their work in getting things ready. Can't wait for the next one!!!!

Finally have a chance to get on line and thank everyone for a great swap. You folks are amazing. The projects are wonderful and like many others of you, mine are still on display on the dining room table.
Special thanks to Tammy, Deb, and Don and anyone else who helped organize, set up and clean up. It was SO nice of you. Your efforts were GREATLY appreciated.
I also agree that future swaps should start earlier.
Thanks again. Will be watching for the next one. Pat
Hello everyone!
YES! Thank you so much for organizing and holding such a GREAT event!!! I really had a GREAT time!! I loved everything! Would love to do it again! I would prefer to wait until early March though, I think February will be very busy for me, stamping and family birthday things.
Thank you everyone for all of the great ideas/projects! Megan
Here is the recipe for the Pumpkin pie dip I brought if anyone is interested.
Pumpkin pie dip:
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted (to get out the lumps)
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese softened
1 - 15 oz. can pumpkin
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Using mixer combine powdered sugar and cream cheese. Stir in can of pumpkin and spices and mix together, chill.
Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers and/or gingersnaps.
(I like to use the graham cracker sticks)
ENJOY!!

Hello talented shoebox swappers! For those of you waiting for photos to be posted, unfortunately, I am having some technical problems uploading them to my gallery:( I will keep trying, but it may take me a few days! I am so sorry to keep you all waiting!

Erin, your Mom was so fun! She's got such a great spirit, and that apron is so great! I told her I felt like we had the cafeteria lady there stamping! Glad you two were able to come!
I'm still amazed at the talent at the shoebox swap, but was more amazed at the friendliness of the group. I was nervous coming since i didn't know a soul there (yet!). You know i didn't find out whose door prize i was lucky enough to win. But i'd love to thank the person who got me all the fall ribbon spools that was in the wrapped box. They are fabulous! You know i was trying to tame myself by not letting me buy seasonal ribbons for halloween & fall but you just fed my addiction, THANK YOU THANK YOU! You will see that i've already been using the ribbons if you look at my gallery. Let me know who you are please. Again, thank you so much, wasnt i SO LUCKY to get the last one! ! ! I had "warm words" on my little ticket. I'm really looking forward to the next one now that i'm no longer a shoebox swap rookie!
I don't know all of you, but do you have a list of names & addresses of the group so we can keep in touch (i.e. RAK's, B-days, get togethers, etc???)
would it be something everyone would be interested?
thanks
becky
I am finally getting around to checking out this site. Had such a great time on Saturday. So glad I was able to come. Don't know when I'll be back in Ohio, but maybe I will be able to make another swap sometime. On Monday I got to go to Brunswick to the Hollo's paper factory. What a great place. I'm ready to go again. Met a couple more splitcoast gals there. Everyone is so nice. We arrived home Tuesday evening. Was just home about 4 hours before getting sick. Guess some kind of bug. Was sick all day Wed., and then Thurs. my great-grandson had a bug and I had to watch him. I've been trying to catch up ever since. Still have a couple of the projects that I brought home to finish up. I loved all of them. I've got to practice on that candle thing. Melted mine too much. All the food was delicious. Thanks for the recipes. I would also like the one that was a spread made with lime. Whoever made it would you post it here or pm me? Thank you. Thanks to everyone who helped in making this possible. I do think next time you need to start earlier. I would also like a list of who was there. Talk to you later. Janet
