I can't wait either! Only have to work on my last lotto exchange yet.
Anyone interested? Do you have anyleft over cards from swaps? I am doing a re-swap of retired & current cards and have cards left to swap out. I will bring them along to swap separately. Please email me at [email protected] & let me know if you plan too & about how many. Thanks ladies for helping out in advance!
I hope others are also getting excited about this swap next weekend????
I sure am, though I am not nearly as far as I'd like to be with the "readiness" for the event!!!! I have my 3x3's done, as well as the anything but and the lottery. So, I need to get my butt going on the shoebox (I have an idea and need to get a sample done today and maybe everything cut out) as well as the additional card front.
I was in Madison from Wednesday night through this morning for the state girls basketball tournament, so no time to stamp. Today, I WILL get it done!
Can't wait to meet all of you and see some of you from last year!
I've had a different stamping event each weekend for the last 3 weeks - so I'm not even as far along as you are!!
But, gonna start tonight and work on a different part each night this week.
See you all on Saturday!

I got my card front done yesterday (it actually is a full card though) and worked on my shoebox swap card. I got all of the parts cut out and was getting the full card part together and ran out of cardstock---so a quick email to my wonderful demo Nancy and I hope she has some (if not, maybe my friend LaurieR has it....)
So, I guess on Friday it all comes together....................................Hope everyone else is doing well on theirs too!
set-up/registration starts at 9:30 (but I may be ready sooner if I can be - so just come in when you arrive, even if you're early). Stamping to start promptly at 10!

Tracy--are we making baggies for 12 or 13 cards to be made there? The email I got in February says both and I just wanted to double check.
Thanks!
pre-make 15 (one of which is your sample), bring supplies for 12

I've been busy the last two weeks and finally got a chance to log in to SCS and see what's up.
I still have to make my 'anything but' when I get home on Friday night, but then I'll be set.
See you all in a few days!

Hope you are all hard at work (or done!) with your projects. I'm getting the last minute stuff ready (bags, door prizes, lunch ordered, etc). Still have to do my card fronts tho!
They are predicting 4-6 inches of snow Friday - supposed to be done Friday night. Hope they are right. It figures....we've had such nice weather every weekend - lots of melting, etc. Then we get hit for our event :(
Everyone drive carefully please! See you Saturday. Make sure you have my cell phone number in case you run into issues on Saturday.

Tracy, Thank you so much for hosting this again this year! I had a great time! The cards are just fabulous!
Cindy, thanks for the ribbon holder, and more thanks for helping finish all my cards! You are such a sweetie!
It was great to see the friends I already know and to meet new people!
One favor, could the person that made the cute Positively Pink tin my friend Barbaralynn won please let me know. I feel so bad that I didn't jot down your name for her. Thanks!!!
Yes Tracy, you did such a wonderful job on the organizing. Every one of these I go to gets better every time. Thanks for the Mono too. Can't wait till next year. Thanks again!
Hello everyone,
Tracy thanks so much for all your work hosting this wonderful event.
I had a great time. Thanks so much for the notes in my bag. Laurie glad to help!!!
It was nice to see everyone again.
We just to home at 9pm after a trek to archivers. What a cool store, then of course to Olive Garden.
Hope everyone made it home safely!!
thanks again for everything
Happy Easter
cindy
Another great time! Thank you to everyone for the great cards and great conversation.
I left gabbygab, mycattracks, and rmnett after Archivers and went home and slept until this morning! (Must have been tired from all that stamping...couldn't have been the travel and the white-knuckle driving through a snowstorm from Minneapolis, right?)
Hope everyone is having a very Happy Easter Sunday.

Thanks everyone! It was such a nice day. I hope you all enjoyed it too. It seemed to just fly right by!
All the projects were so nice! What a great variety.
Hope you all had a nice Easter.
See you next year! (or at Gloria's...or at Regionals...or at Northwoods!)

Hey everybody! I just sent the invitation to view my pictures to Tracy so you will all get to see your smiling faces soon. Tee hee! If you sign in to the Kodak gallery you can order pictures and have them sent to you directly. If you just click on view, you will only be able to just view this particular album and not the rest of my albums. I see they have a special to order 100 pictures for $15.00 if you are a new member to the Kodak gallery. I took close to 100 pictures so you won't have trouble ordering that many if you want too, plus I have other galleries in there with stamping projects that you might be interested in.
If you would like to come over to stamp.....drop me a line or call me at 608-403-4398. I would love to have you. Hersheys kisses are the key to entering.....LOL
To answer a question posted above, Melissa Varga (aka Minerva), spc name melv, made the cute little pink box for the lottery.
Thanks again Tracy for a wonderful day! I hope to hear from all of you soon....I just know after you see all my wonderful pictures that you will want me to be the photographer at your next event! :-D
Make it a great day! Elaine Wilson (the person Tracy kept losing at the swap and could not find!)
Anyone want to get together again soon? I would be willing to organize a shoebox swap at the Adams-Friendship Community Center if enough people were interested in coming. We could have Subway or Papa Murphy's Pizza for lunch, door prizes and additional swaps like at Tracey's, same cost too, $25. Elaine would be our designated photographer, plus she is an awesome baker! Just let me know, if enough people are interested then I will set it up.

Elaine is just a stealthy stamper! Blending right into her projects.
Next year you must bring flashy deely-boppers to wear on your head so I can find you
I'll be sending out an email sometime today with some final housekeeping stuff and I'll include the link to view Elaine's pictures.

Melissa--since I was the one who missed the swap on Saturday, but my pal Laurie with some additional help made all my swap cards and Tracy swapped my additional ones too, I am in "NEED" of a swap soon.................. Depending on the date, I would like to come. A-F is my alma mater, though it was way back in 1971! Let us know what you decide and post something on SCS.
Thanks, Barb

O.K. the date is not set yet we have a couple to choose from. So everyone check your calendars and we will go with what works best for the most people. So here is what we have for you to vote on.

Please let me know by noon Friday, so the dates on the Registration form can be correct plus I need to let the Comunity Center know what day we want and pay the deposit.
The Registration form, General tips and sign up sheet will be posted Friday night with updates made twice weekly to the sign up sheet until the deadline. A final sheet with the number of people participating in each optional swap will be posted at that time. Tracey, I LOVE YOU!!! & Hope you don't mind, but I used the forms from your swap as a template to make mine. We all understand yours, so why change something that works so well.
Can't wait to hear from all of you. We will go with the majority (did I mentiionn that I am one of the Election Poll Workers for our township?)
Who brought the cranberry cookies to the gathering? Someone liked them so much, they'd like to know where they can get them.

Melissa--I am not able to make either weekend. First is the Trek 100 bike ride that I particiapte in and the second is graduation day at the high school where I teach.
I hope to make one in the future--thanks for trying--Barb
Can someone tell me who made the forest green card with the trees from "Lovely as a Tree". I love that set and use it often and that card is awesome. How was the top of the card done? sponged?

Hi Barb -
I believe that card was done by Alisa Anderson. I think the top was done by sponging, but I'll have her confirm.
