ME! ME! ME! PLEASE! I am sooooo excited! I had an absolute blast last year and can't wait for this year! Also, I have room at my house if anyone needs it. My husband will be out of town and I would love a girls' night! Just let me know. I am located in Belleville, IL about 15-20 minutes from the church!
Another bummed out stamper checking in here.....no way can I make it on May 17th. My youngest graduates from high school that day and I'm thinking that it would be considered poor form at best for me to miss that great event. We will also probably be celebrating his 18th birthday that day (while all the family is in town for the graduation) even though technically it's not until May 18th. But at any rate, I'm so sorry that I won't be able to come...I was really hoping to be able to and the gals I came with last year (Robin and Joni) are looking forward to it along with some of my other local stamping buddies who didn't make it last year.
Thanks Kristy for the offer! You never know who might end up hanging out your house this year! *grin*

Jan- Say it isn't so! I definitely don't think your getting out of this one girl. Graduation only comes once...birthday's are a bit more flexible but to put the two together! Geesh! Sorry chickie.
SO, I am confused...the other gals are they wanting to attend or NO?

My daughter, who lives in St. Louis told me what fun she had last year at the Stampede. I generally try and visit (from warm, sunny, Florida!) sometime in May and we both like to get some stampin' in. So I would very much like to be a part of game this year. Please let me know what I need to do to sign up. Look forward to meeting my fellow stampers!
I wanted to let you know I know about the thread, and am working things out. Hopefully I will be able to make it.
I also was reading the Mad-City thread and they have their gals make 1/2 the cards and bring supplies for the other 1/2. That way you leave with all the cards, but you only have to make 1/2 of them. Does that make sense?

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I can't make that date! I am currently doing a Bible study once a month with a huge group of our church ladies and that is one of our scheduled dates. I am so bummed because the Stampede is SO FUN. Off to find a large chocolate bar and soothe my aching heart......
I'm so disapointed you won't be there, it won't be the same without you. I like Tracy's idea of getting a replacement for the Bible Study, of course no one leads it like you do.
Tracy, put me down on the list, I'm planning to attend, even without Kelly.:(

Too funny...I haven't even posted all the deets yet and you have me figured out. I wasn't aware that anyone else had done this but I was planning the same thing for the Stampede and was implementing (testing) it at an event this weekend. LOL Great minds think alike...right?!?!
So the short answer...YES, it's makes great sense to me! ;)

I will add you to the list now. Who is your daughter? Do I need to add her as well?
Thanks and you will have so much fun!

Thanks for the invite Tracy!! I had a great time last year - even thought I was sooo late. I am checking withh DH and working out the schedule so hopefully I cna make it again - For the whole day!!!
My suggestion for the massive # of stampers was similar to Kelly's - since this is what I had to do last year anyway - 1/2 the cards or all the cards make them up in kits w/ a picture of the finished card and divide the group up - those who don't get to make the cards can take the packet home - then everyone gets to receive all the cards (even if some have to be assembled at home). Does that make sense?
I am loving the suggestions but as I said...I promise (seriously) I have it all worked out...it will be so much less stressful. And although, yours is a good suggestion I have an even simplier solution minus any confusion. Thanks chickie!
I added you to the list with a ? beside your name? Just let me know when you find out you WILL be there! *grin*

If this thread gets really crazy later and I am not here to update don't worry I will bbl. I have a sick little guy. We went to SIC (Illinois) yesterday for a play that my D(S)D was in and on the way home Curtis started feeling bad. I think he has strep...I hope not but he has all the yucky symptoms.

*snicker* no worries, Kelly we got it worked out this time. You WILL NOT be making 40 cards this year. GEEZ, I was moving too fast last year as was everyone else. LOL

Oh yeah...I meant to say that my idea was similar but a bit more structered (is that the correct word to use?)...anyway, once the kiddo is feeling much better I will post all the deets.

Oh good...so glad it's not strep...that is so painful for little kids. Looking forward to knowing all the details!

My daughter, who told me about this, asked me if I would have you add her to your list of attendees also. She's listed as Erenner1 (Elizabeth) on SCS. We're looking forward to it! Thank you!
