Just curious about what sets people will be using. Although I'd like to use one out of the spring mini I think I'll choose something out of the big catty just so that you all can use the sample for the rest of the year.

I'm using Easy Elegance, but you could use a different stamp for it.

Dang, I didn't used Easy Elegance cause I thought it would be considered "retired". Actually, I haven't even made my card yet. Maybe I should do that, loL!

Wasn't aware that there was a rule about that. Hope it's okay cause I've got all the stuff for it.

I just now read the guidelines for this swap. Glad I did.... They want a rating of how easy or difficult your card is (1-4). HA! I haven't even decided on paper color. It also says to use current ink, paper and stamps. I would think Easy Elegance is considered retired, until July. I'm hoping it makes it in the big catty but who knows???
I have decided to do a "unisex" birthday card. I am using the following sets: Simple Shapes, Tags & More (love the stamp with the candles!) and Vogue Verses. I really wanted to do a "hard" card, but ended up doing an easy card instead. So my card would have a rating of "1".
Rats!! Just found this thread this morning, read the first few pages, got all excited and jumped up to look at my calendar, filled out a check, sealed it and ran to the mailbox. Came back in, read the rest of the thread, got up and retreived the check from the mailbox...can I be put on the waiting list? How long is the waiting list anyway?? :(
Bummer, I can't come to Austin and am having to release my spot. Husband's job is moving us and I'm having to pack up this month and go with him next month. Can't stamp for a while now. Whomever gets my spot have fun, fun, fun.

For those of you on the waiting list I just wanted to let you know that the list has been moving, a few people from the main list have had to cancel. If you are on the waiting list and now know you won't be able to make it please let me know by pm so I can remove you.
There is still hope for those remaining on the waiting list.
At the gathering in Arlington last October there were all types of door prizes. The items that got the most attention were the SU! items of course. I remember there being some handmade crafts and items from Bath and Body Works, Pampered Chef, Yankee Candle, gift cards and a ton of other cool things.
Just about anything will do, if it is something you would like to receive then chances are somebody else would like it too.
Big shock here....using roses in winter! So glad I finally got my card made....rshores, can I email it to you to make sure if fits all the guidelines??

I would love to see it, please send it to me and Brenda (sassybee).
I think that was most appreciated in Arlington. I remember lots of oohs and aaahs over Jess Witty's hand stamped ensemble. I will be bringing something stamp related. I'm not sure if it'll be stamped, stamp stuff or both. I guess I need to start thinking about that though huh? LOL
Jody, I'm bringing a very pretty rose picture frame!! ;)

Hey, you! Are you staying over night or going straigh back home? Were you stayin' at? I need a roommate and so far no one has taken me up on my offer. I've promised to shower at least once and I've taken care of that annoying flatulence problem! :o

HEY! I was a twin with Katy at Arlington with my SU apron. Katy, will you be wearing it again? I think I will wear mine again if I don't forget to not pack it. We are going to be homeless in less than two weeks. I am MAJORLY stressing out here.
I would love to see it, please send it to me and Brenda (sassybee).
Thanks!
Okay, I forgot to send it before I left for my mom's so I hope it's ok cause I am cutting the cs while i am here. I'll email it to you when I get back home.
Oh yes, and my door prize is totally something stamped/modpodged....this is a first for me, I hope it doesn't suck!
I am making something really cool for my doorprize (don't want to give away the surprise). I have never made it before, so I hope it comes out! I am also including some items from SU along with it. I know what rshores is bringing, too! I WANT HER PRIZE!!!! It is off the hook!
For the Arlington shindig, I just decorated a large gable box and put some SU products in there. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. I agree with what Rebecca (rshores) said about just bringing something that you would like to receive yourself. Feel free to p.m. me if you need some suggestions.
