We (Andrea & Lisa) are hosting another shoebox swap on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., at: (please read the entire description)
The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd
1515 Emmorton Road
Bel Air, MD 21014
We are asking that you stay for the entire time of the swap until 3:30pm.
THEME:
There is no theme this time and we do require that all products must be made using Stampin' Up stamps, cardstock, inks, etc. Stamps and colors can either be current or retired.
SWAP:
There is room for 31 people (over 18 years of age please) to attend with each person bringing a shoebox swap for 30 people to make and something to share for lunch. There is a $12 non-refundable charge per person for hall rental, expenses, and pizza which will be collected before the day of the swap. All monies need to be in by Friday, April 6, 2012. If money is not received by this time, the waiting list will be opened up. Everyone who signs up must have a SCS ID to make this fair for everyone attending. If we happen to get more people to sign up then 30, we may have two groups, will keep you informed.
All cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc., along with your own adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. We'd like each person to have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make your card, and also have their swaps in baggies or envelopes containing everything each person needs to do your card. This really helps make the swap go more smoothly.
LUNCH:
We will be ordering Pizza for lunch and it would be appreciated if you could sign up to bring beverages, plates, napkins, desserts, salad and breakfast items. We do not have access to a kitchen.
There will be several door prizes throughout the day. And we are asking for card donations which will be used for our local hospital. These can be old swap cards, card fronts, or even one of the cards you are doing for the swap.
To sum up what youll need to bring for the shoebox swap: something to share for lunch/breakfast, and cards for the local hospital if you'd like to donate any. I am attaching a registration form that should be sent to me along with the $12 non-refundable charge.
I hope you don't mind but I invited a few friends who have signed up....

Of course, Debbie (dbrann) and I will be there, too. It is going to be fun day!
Hi..Please sign me and April P up for the swap. I'm sending her the link so she can give you her SCS name. Thanks!! Lynn Say "Hi" to Philomenia for me!!!
I can put your friends on the wait list if you like. We fill up fast but sometimes there are cancellations. Let me know if you would like to add your friends to the wait list.
Andrea and Lisa, I'm sorry to say I have to back out of the swap. I was so excited to come too. I need to stamp. As you know I am a clown and we are invited to be in the Cherry Blossom Festival parade this year in DC and it's something I would love to be a part of. Will catch you next time and say Hello to everyone for me. Donna
I just placed an order for 2000 A2 envelopes. They are 6 cents each, so 50 would be $3. A box of A2 envelopes @ Walmart is almost $6, so this is a great deal!
If you are interested in buying some, let me know. I will bring them with me to the swap.
Have you started thinking about your project yet? I have my design in mind, but if I do things the way I usually do, I won't get started until April 10th or so. You'd think I'd learn.......
Hi Lisa! Thanks for the offer - that's a great price. I'd like 100 for $6.00. If you don't get a lot of replies to buy them, I will even take more. But I'm starting with 100 cause I don't want to be a piggy! Thanks!
