No idea what time though.....Can't wait!!! Taking my 6 year old daughter this time, she's in for a treat! (she's my stamping buddy at home) :0)
Yup, the credit card will be steaming by Sat. night for sure......
Dawn, from Maybee.....
Aw, Jan! I wish I could go! It would be great to meet you! I am going when AuntieAmy makes her way to Des Moines, IA. Still about 4 hours from me, but worth it!
Have a great time, and try not to spend too much money (like that is possible at that convention!).
Can't wait to hear what you like best...

I should arrive about 10:00 and I'll be there with a couple of stamping friends/customers who are also SCS members (no SCS t-shirts, though :( ). One of them has made JanTink's bride card which was a big hit, and she continues to receive special requests for it. It would be a blast to meet you, Jan.

I'm heading over there on Saturday...depends on when I get my work done (Saturday is my day to run the church bulletin at Kinko's, but if I get it done tonight I can head out early.) I'll wear my SCS shirt and the pin we wore at convention. So if you see me, grab me and say hi!
Credit card burned up? Not buy a thing? (yeah right)
I spent $50-half my alloted amount, so I think I did real well. Bought a stamp for my daughter, some watercolor ink pages (for use with a water brush)
A set of metallic chalk powder--works just beautifully with versamark and a stipple brush. Came home and immediately found a butterfly stamp and tried them out!! LOL
Bought some multi-color leaving for a project I saw a long time ago.....wonder if I can find where I wrote down the directions...
I went over my limit by about $6.00! My favorite purchase was the MAgnetic Poetry word stamp kit: vacation & travel edition. I also bought sentiments and verses to go along with SU! sets that I have, some spiral clips, a cool turtle stamp for my scrapbooking, and a little bit of patterned paper.
My favorite sentiment I bought to go with Fishy Friends... "Been fishing for just the right words... to tell you how much I appreciate you!" (Darcie's)
If my budget was larger, I would have gotten the Better Setter.
The gal I went with stalled for almost an hour before we got there, so next time I will be meeting her there......which means she won't go....so I'll need someone to buddy up with! The next one is the scrapbook convention in April or May. It's about twice the size, and they have great classes to attend! Stamped hugs from Maybee, Dawn
I was actually in the area for the weekend and didn't know anything about it. We live in GR but were in Lake Orion visiting my in-laws. Boring! I would have had a baby sitter and everything. :( Oh, well. I suppose since I just spent $300 in the new SU catalog, there's no money to spend anyway. How do you ladies find out about these things??
Hi Kathryn, I had volunteered for Auntie Amy's convention last year, she forgot this year and didn't have enough time to get people to do it. Anyway, I am subscribed to her e-mail listing and she will e-mail you a few months before the convention. Here is her website: www.auntieamy.com.
LOL, easy huh?
There is a huge scrapbook convention at Novi Expo Center in May or April, you can go to their website for those dates.
