Any SCS member can come. All you have to do is post on this thread that you want on �the list�. We have a maximum of 30 spots available---first come, first serve!

My sister, Katrina (yes, our names rhyme - no, we are not twins!) and another friend, Tina R, will be joining us. I will send in the payment and reg forms for the three of us.
Tina is not on Splitcoast but I will send her the link so she can create a profile and log on. She is a swap virgin. I am trying to convince one more friend to join us. We are doing the swap during the day, then meeting the guys in Austin afterwards to celebrate my 40th Bday.

That DOES sound like an awesome way to celebrate your 40th birthday! I can't believe you are 40! You look so young! I remember Katrina from last year. I will add both girls to the list.
Thanks, sweetie! Guess what, gals?? I just finished stamping my sample card for the swap!!!!!!!!! Yup, got it done a month before the swap!!! LOL
It is a very quick and simple card. No coloring, no fancy measuring. The hardest part will be adhering some red rhinestones (12 total) to it without dropping em. :-)
Hi Brenda. You pretty much know who I am so do you need a reg form from me or can I just send you a check? I will be paying for me, Trina and Tina R. so please let me know how much the swap fee is. I am also trying to recruit one more person so if I can do that then I will send you a check for all four ...

If you live in the Georgetown area, flip through the View magazine. There is a picture of all of us posted in the Picture This section. I submitted our group picture that was taken at the October card swap. It was fun seeing us published!

I updated the list. Make sure your name is on there! Sorry I have been awol. I was deathly ill this week. I had the most agonizing pain in my upper stomach and back. We were convinced it was my gallbladder. After a gallbladder scan, we found out that it wasn't my gallbladder. I still don't believe it, but oh well. It may be a nut allergy. The pain started 2 hours after I ate a bunch of almonds. I have been having pain off and on for about 3 months now, but it was nothing compared to this week! So I am going nut free this week to see if it makes a difference. Usually allergies manifest themselves through rashes, hives, swelling but on rare occasions they effect the stomach. I have a similar reaction to eggs. On a positive note, I can stand up straight now and I am feeling much better!
I think I have a payment from Holly, but I haven't opened it yet. Will check it later and will update the list. I have very few payments and they are due on Monday. Please email me if there is an issue with your payment so that I know you still intend to come to the event.
Brenda - I hope you are feeling better. Just ask them to take your gallbladder out already! I was miserable for about two years. They kept telling me it was GERD, insomnia, stress - everything but the gallbladder. Finally, when they took it out, the surgeon told my husband there were enough stones in there to pave a road. Just tell them you'd like it taken out prophylactically. But wait until after the swap :p
My check for four (me, Katrrina, Tina and Rosemary) will be postal in about an hour. My boss was in town last week - it was my 10year Anniversary with the company! - so I could not sneak off to the post office. Sorry to be late. Thank you for your patience.
Okay, sent you $36. Let me know if that's right. Now to get workin' on my stuff! I have my card done, just need to prep it. I know what I want to do for a door prize-- just need to get off my butt and do it! Can't wait!
