You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
I figure that we will not have a huge turnout for our first gathering -- but my house has enough room for a bunch of us. It does not cost to use my house and we will do the food pot luck (once you are confirmed as coming I will have you sign up for dessert, veggies, chips or water). SO, who would like to come to the first ever AZ shoebox swap AND what weekend in March would be the best for everyone . . . I will go by majority on this one!!!
I've ALWAYS wanted to participate in a shoebox swap. Count me in. So far my calendar is wide open for March. Are you thinking of having this gathering on a Saturday or a Sunday? If I had voting rights, I'd vote for a Saturday. And thanks for getting this started. I'm excited.
This gathering will be on a Saturday!!! I am in Maricopa, AZ -- just about 20 minutes outside of Chandler -- so those of you in Casa Grande or Tucson are not too far away to come either . . .
Wouldn't you know a shoebox swap in the making once I am moving. I would love to join but March is "iffy". I will keep my eye on the final date though and reply once I have a more solid moving date. I am excited and I might not even be able to come but goodness it would be a blast!
I can't wait for the shoebox swap. I've already started planning my card for you ladies to make. I have lots of stamp sets that are sitting around getting dusty. Do you think we could have a stamp exchange too? Or do you think an exchange would be better done on a different day?
Hey you guys, don't leave me out. I'm in Mesa. I have a stamper friend here in Mesa, and one in Chandler who might be interested too. They'll just want more information as do I....
So it occurs to me that March might be too soon . . . lets plan for sometime in April/May. I am headed to SoCal Stamp Mania one of those weekends but I am sure I can figure something out. Should I make a sign up form, or do you think because there are so few of us, we can just get together and stamp . . .
I am SO INTERESTED! I live in Buckeye, (only 2 years now) sounds like you may be quite far from me? I would love to come if it's not a 2 hour drive for me. I am free every week-end in April except the 19th but in May only the 31st is free.
If we wait much longer, our Spring Gathering will be a Summer Gathering as last week's temperatures demonstrated! Amanda, have you picked a date yet? Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. And thank you so much for getting this going. I'm excited!

There is a fabulous Crop Fest at the Glendale Civic Center Sunday June 1st from 9am-6pm. Work on Scrapbook or stamping projects for nine hours & a catered lunch is included. There are Rubber Stamp & Paper Crafting Vendors at this Fest to shop with too.
There is a CARD donation for Hospice patients & a handmade Card Swap too. I believe they collected about 20+ handmade cards for Hospice patients at the last Crop Fest.
Sorry I totally dropped the ball on this . . . my life has gotten all sorts of hectic -- my mom hand blood clots in her lungs and just got out of the hospital today, and I found out I am pregnant -- due sometime close to Christmas . . . so it has been crazy and such.
I would love to hostess something still . . . I think we will get the best turn out if we choose one day rather than monthly -- maybe quarterly might work better, or semi annually -- just suggesting out loud . . . I guess it really depends on how large this becomes right?
Um, Saturday afternoon is best for me -- the 1 pm-3pm block . . . anyway, let me know if I should still do this get together, or if we have moved on past me, I am okay with it either way, because I totally just did not have the time the past month to organize anything, and again, I apologize.
I am new to scs and I live in mesa. so how do I join the group? I would love to meet other AZ crafters. I dont know what a shoebox party is but I would love to come anyways!! And I would love to participate in a stamp set trade! Sorry to be so pushy!!:-D

Amanda and banana.cream.pie, let's set a date and time and place for the Spring/Summer Gathering. I'm okay with Amanda's suggestion of the 1-3:00 time block. My son is getting married June 21 and then I'll be out of state the following week for the open-house. So the end of June is out for me. Let me kow if there's anything I can do to help. I have my shoebox swap stuff all ready to go!
