No, it's not too late to sign up. You are welcome to join in on the fun...please PM me your name and what you'd like to share for lunch. List of what is signed up for so far is in the first thread. Also, it's two shoebox swaps for 15 people each. Looking forward to meeting you.
Most likely, we will be in an air conditioned room now upstairs. Mom and I are going to put big tables and chairs in one of the nursery school rooms hopefully. We'll have to get up there and see what it entails to move stuff around. You'll still come in the same doors. For those of you newbies, you pull into the parking lot all the way to the end and come thru the fence and then in those big doors. I'm really looking forward to this...
Yeah I can't wait. DH and I have been busy house hunting. We made an offer on a great place last night, and the owners accepted it. I have been so busy I haven't even thought about what I am going to do. I had planned on house hunting again this weekend. But now I get to stamp.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Take 695 to 795. Take Exit 4 for Owings Mills Blvd. The exit splits, so keep to the right. Proceed to the second light and bear right. Stay in the middle lane and turn left at the traffic light at Route 140, Reisterstown Road. Go through three traffic lights. You will see the church on your right after the third light. Make your next right onto E. Pleasant Hill Road and then right into the parking lot. You will enter the church at the far end of the parking lot through the gate.
Two ladies can't come now, and they were the ones bringing desserts. Can anyone pitch in and bring a dessert or two? If so, please post here what you'll bring. I'm hoping to bake a cake Friday night to bring along, but think we need one or two more sweet things to enjoy.
Please still prepare your swaps for 15 people. I've had a couple maybes that won't let me know until tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks gals for pitching in with the desserts. Fran is bringing something too, and I picked up some homemade cookies at a market up here near work. So we should be good with desserts now. See you on Saturday!
Okay ladies, the room is set up, the A/C units work, and I hope everyone is more prepared than I am right now. Off to finish cutting for my last swap and then I think that does it. See you all in the morning.
Cindy- thanks again for another fun day of stamping! The cards were again great, the food terrific, and the company wonderful.
Thanks for going to all the trouble organizing everything- you do a great job.
Robin
Cindy, thanks again for organizing everything. It was a fun day!
Here's the recipe for the cake I brought--I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. If I can make it and not mess it up, it has to be an easy recipe to follow! Enjoy!
Double Chocolate Chip Cake
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 box chocolate instant pudding
1 12 oz. bad of chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups milk
3 tablespoons oil
Preheat oven to 350. Combine dry ingredients, except chips. Add milk, eggs, and oil. Stir until moistened and add chips. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes. When the top is firm, remove from oven and let cool for one hour. Place plate atop Bundt pan and turn upside down. Slowly release Bundt pan. Decorate with powdered sugar, if desired.
Cindy, thank you so much for a really fun day! I truly enjoyed my "first" shoebox swap and am looking forward to many more! Thanks to all for helping me with those last couple of cards, I truly appreciate it!
Thanks so much for organizing these shoebox swaps! I had a wonderful time making the cards, which were all beautiful. Thanks to everybody for sharing their ideas and giving me so much inspiration.
Thanks to everyone for a great day yesterday!! Awesome cards as usual, good food, and good fellowship! Thank you ladies for helping to clean up the room and put the tables/chairs away. That was a big help to Mom and me.
Yes, tentatively the next one is scheduled for November 4 with a Christmas/winter theme for the shoeboxes. Once I get confirmation from the church, I'll post another thread.
I had a great time yesterday. All of the cards were awesome. Thanks for putting these swaps together, Cindy.
Hope I can make the one in November. I will be 6 months pregnant then so we will have to see.
Thanks for a great day everyone.

Thank you ladies for donating 85 cards to the card ministry. That is so awesome!! I'm sitting here stamping the backs with our Faith Fellowship stamp and adding verses inside some of them. I am so overwhelmed by your generosity. You gals are wonderful!!!
