Carolina Girls #3 UPDATED May 19th, 2007 Directions posted
We have a date! May 19th here in Columbia off Farrow Road. Amy (ast) is in charge of the place. We will send out directions soon. Now it is time for us to work on the details- food, food, prizes, food. :-)
I will post the sign up on this front page soon. Let's talk it up! We want a huge turnout! Contact some of our "veterans"! I will keep this page updated.
9:30 is the start time. Amy will post directions soon! Directions on posts #113, 114, 115!!!
*Full cards only if your project is a card.
*Please try to use only SU products and "current" SU stamps. If you are unable to do this, it's okay but we love to show our creations to our customers and can't show card that have been made with other company products.
*Make sure to bring enough for each person to make or take a card. We will have a final # a week or so before the event.
*Bring everything needed for the card; stamps, ink, embellishments, hole punches, cutting tools, scrub & mist...etc. Label everything with your name! Each person should bring your own basic adhesive to carry with you.
*Precut as much as possible and put all of the ingredients in individual baggies. It helps to have one baggie per person so that if we run out of time we can grab the bag and assemble at home.
*Any project is fine, cards, 3-D, mini books...be CREATIVE!!!!!
*Make a finished sample of your card to be left at your your station and put your name on it so we know who designed each card as we move around the room. It is always fun to put cards with faces.
*Each person will set up their stuff at a station and then everybody rotates around the room and makes each project. You can go at your own pace that way.
*Bring your best work!

Well ladies, the Columbia branch of Carolina Girls is finally talking about the next Carolina Girls get-together. What about something in April or May?
Tholland, we need to talk about my office. We have a huge party room, that we could probably sit close to 20-25 ladies. I will have to rent some round tables, we only have square ones. What do you think? Bathrooms and a kitchen area with microwave.
That's my girl Amy. Everyone in Charleston is looking forward to seeing you lady. I hope more of our ladies from Rock Hill and Charlotte area can join us. Let's keep this thread going, ladies.
Ooh...sounds fun! I would love to be part of this if the dates work. I have a clubhouse in my neighborhood that we could use for free, and several big tables.
okay im bumping..HOPING that we get more interest...BUT i know everyone in this area is EXCITED about regionals! so maybe thats why everyone is still dragging around...

I am down in Beaufort, but I will try to make it. I have to get someone to watch my kids. My husband is in Kuwait so I could use some time to myself. This would be perfect. I will keep checking back.
I'm with you Amy. Let's get on with it. I say we go with your place on Farrow and then just pick a date. April is really busy for me so how about May? First Saturday in May?

I'm thinking the beginning of May (Mother's Day) and the ending of May (graduations) are probably going to be busy weekends for a lot of Stampers. However, if y'all decide to have it in May, perhaps the weekend of the 19th would be good for most folks.............comments?
Good Morning Ladies,
Patti you and I are on the same page this am. Let's go with the 19th of May. Here at my office on Farrow Road. It is very easy to find off of I-20.
Let's get the plans rolling on this.
