stampinmomof3 - Thanks for starting the list. If you could keep the list going and help with that part it would be great. We need someone to be in charge of food for the swap. If anyone wants to do that, let me know. We need to have door prizes too. I think everyone enjoyed the great ones we had in Columbia. For those coming from out-of-town, there are couple of nice places not far from the church and I can get information for those who want or need it. Let me know what other ideas you have. I need a few ladies from the area to meet at the church so we can determine the max number we can have attend this first (of many) swap. Thanks for the help. Biglucy.

AHHHHHHHHHH I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so hoping it would not be the 14th once I finally got back here online because my Mom decided to throw my SIL a very QUICKLY PLANNED baby shower! LOL And she has decided to do it on the 14th!

We were away for a year of USAF Pilot training and we jsut got back last week! Anyone who wants to get together to stamp before the big day PM me your info and we can do a stamp day together! I need to get some stamping done and I hope to get my stamps out and get inking in the next two weeks I am having MAJOR WITHDRAWLS!!!!!!!!!!

How many are coming so far? I have a few friends who I will see if they are interested! Is there a small fee to help cover the room rental? Where are all the final details? LOL I am a little lost...
HI! So far we have 18 signed up. stampinmomof3 has a list of everyone who has signed up. A few of us are meeting Tues. at the church to assigned tasks that need to be done. There is no fee for the church hall because it is my church. After the meeting on Tues., we will have the details and anyone can sign up to do whatever they want to in helping. So look for details and names of those you can contact to help on Tues. or Wed. Look forward to meeting you and hope we can get a stamping group started here. biglucy

I think biglucy and some others are meeting this Tuesday at the church to go over some details and some other things. PM her if you want to help out. The church is on Wappoo Rd. The day we are having the swap is Sat. Oct. 21st! It is going to be a blast. :-) I'm sure the girls would love for you to come and help out!

It will be a shoe box swap and so far I think we have about 22 or 23 attending...
I am so excited!!! I was at the swap in Columbia and it was a BLAST. I went to tholland's last night and stamped it was GREAT. She is a great asset to the stamping world. Her mother biglucy is a doll. See all of you in Charleston.l

Big Lucy ( our coordinator ) is out of town for the next two weeks. Should you have any questions please PM me or post to this thread.
We will be doing DOOR PRIZES chinese auction style...if you want to participate you need to bring a door prize....If you do not want to participate you do not need to bring a door prize. We will do hourly drawings...You may either wrap your doorprize or bring it unwrapped.....if you wrap it it will add to the fun!!!
There will also be a contest for the best name tag. Please create a nametag with your SCS username as well as your REAL NAME...make em purdy gals!!!!
I am going to coordinate the FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is fridge room, a microwave, an oven, a freezer and plenty of counter space and outlets for crock pots...so really you can bring whatever you would like!
So if you are coming we ask that you let us know what you are bringing for the pot luck lunch...

We have two gals who want to go in on a ChicFilA Nuggett Platter and wanted to know if two others would be willing to split the cost as well so that we can order a large platter....if you would be interested please let me know and I will give you the others info so you all can work out the details....
I will update the list as people sign up so we can keep a kind of balanced menu.....of course desserts and such we can always have TOO MUCH of! ;)

We are going to get directions to the church as well as a list of nearby hotels and post them as a printable attachment. We will do directions from points Northwest- Columbia via I-26E
Southwest - Beaufort/Hilton Head via 17N
Northeast - Myrtle via 17S
If you need directions from a different location please let us know ASAP...The church is VERY EASY TO FIND!!!!! It is one turn off of 17....and we will be marking the church and parking lot with balloons and signs the day of the event.

Paula, you are doing a great job with the list. Please add ast to the list and she said she thinks she may bring a friend. I will hear from her soon. I'll be talking to Sally tomorrow(Sat.) and then I leave for NY on Sun. The ladies here are working on the details for the swap. We met Tues. at the church. Let us know if you are coming in on Fri.(20th). We want to go out to eat on Fri. and hope some of the out-of-town ladies are coming in on Fri.
