Ok gals... my upline has definitely confirmed that her event is on for 8/5 so I need to change this date... sorry!
But her event is important to me; as it's a charity stamp-a-stack to benefit a local girls home where our group regularly volunteers. I just wish I'd known about it earlier! So much for pre-planning!
Anyways I will be making some calls this week to secure a location. I am trying hard to keep the costs low. So give me a week.
I just noticed this thread for the first time. (I guess there is always something new to discover in the forums....) Anyway, I'm interested in participating, if the date works out. (Summer weekends can be very busy.) So, I will check in to see the final date and location.
just an update to say I haven't flaked... some personal stuff has kept me off SCS, but I am still planning on doing this, and I have a goal to get a date by the end of next week! Thanks for all who are interested... and if you want to know more about the August 5th Stamp Camp fundraiser in Elgin for the Larkin center; please PM me and I will send you a flyer on it...
I am not sure what this is totally all about (I get the general gist) but I would be interested in finding out more info! I am in the far west suburbs, so it would not be that far for me, no matter where you picked - I could be there!

I'd love to join you depending on the date! My downline would come too also depending on the date. Might be hard to do in August with the Regional coming.
Any ideas as to where the Regional will be held? It might be fun to plan something for Saturday night after the Regional if possible! Dinner and a swap?

Ok... I did it.... the room is booked. I LOVE the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. They were SO accomidating. PLUS I think this will be a great location... pretty central for most people... so ya'll better come!
I chose 11:00 to 3:00 thinking that we will break for lunch at about 1:00ish. I will also get dessert and snacks... lots of chocolate too!
I will put the swap rules on the registration form... I'm just waiting for my Panera menu to be faxed so I can complete the form. I will give everyone a selection of lunches to choose from.
I really look forward to meeting everyone. I missed out on the convention dinner, and I am so glad we have a lot of interest for non-demos too. The more the merrier!
Also feel free to bring your Stampin' friends. Just make sure to give me their info on the registration form.

Dh and I are planning a two week camping trip out to South Dakota We belong to a group called BOCI Bigfoot Owners Club International. Bigfoot is a Brand name for a Camper it's made in Canada.
ok... I jUST heard that Bev is planning something for this SAME DAY! I wrote her... waiting to hear back.... but I am reluctant to move this one AGAIN! Hopefully we can work something out! I just wanna throw ya'll a party!
I just talked with Bev...she is so nice... and yes, she is having another gathering on the 23rd... but she was not interested in posting it here... it was going to just be for her previous group that met in June... So we are a GO!
