I'm sad to hear that your friend can't come Ruth but I am glad that you are still coming!!! We can carpool I will send you a PM.
Final count for the additional card swap is 11 and the shoebox swap is 13.. Don't forget the nametag contest if you are competing!!
Also we are going to be leaving our original card (the sample one) for Missi's sister who reserved the clubhouse for us?? What a great gift that will be for her.
Time is growing short. Meeting at 1600 North sounds great. What time?
My projects are all finished except my name tag. Maybe tonight!
I'm looking forward to Saturday!

Can I ask a favor??? I am trying to collect birthday cards for (written to) my dad for his 70th birthday and I was going to ask you all if anyone was willing to help me reach my goal of 70. So far I have 8... I could just get it from you at the swap if you were interested in helping and then you wouldn't have to mail it and it would save postage.. If willing, my dad's name is Terry Tyler and he will be 70 in June!!!!
OK talk about procrastination. I really need to get my cards going! I'm so excited about this. Can I get anyone to tell my boss to leave me alone? See you all on Saturday.
just taking a break from cutting, and thought I'd check in and see how things are going.... is anyone else still cutting your stuff out or am I the only one who has waited till the last minute
I gotta go to the grocery store and get the rest of the stuff for my salad but that can wait till Friday
I am toooooo excited, can't wait to meet everyone and a day of stamping and visiting and eating can't get much better than that
Julie Julie,
You got it! One of the finished projects is for my sister, the other is the sample for everyone to work from. You can give my sister your sample project if you want.
See you in the morning!
Missi
Sad news--my 3 yo dd woke up with major pink eye and a gross goober nose!!:( DH is a soccer coach and has to be gone from 10:30 to 2:00 today for practice and a game. I obviously can't send her with DH, and I've got to get her in to see a Dr. I'm gonna have to bail last minute---I HATE to do that to you! I was soooo excited to hang out, stamp, and chat!
Please post everyone's darling creations so I can see what I missed out on!
We missed you Melissa.. I even made FRIED RICE so you could eat.. A couple of the ladies put their cheese on the side so you could eat and another made one separate just for you!! The projects were way fun and we even got done early, imagine that!! The next one is down south around the 1st or 2nd week in August. We are taking a party bus down again from up here!
THANKS ladies for the awesome day.. I hope you liked the keychain post-its for those who got them.. I thought they were the neatest thing when I saw it.
Another great party! So fun to get together with stamping friends!
Thanks to everyone for their awesome projects and swaps! Missi was the hostest with the mostest and YuRee made some awesome prizes for the contests! Really sad for those that couldn't make it - keep your calendars open tentatively the 2nd weekend in August for our next one in Utah County!
A quick thank you for YUREE and Missi. The club house was great, and the projects were all so fun. They were great everyone. Looking forward to August swap. Good dates for me in August are the 16th or the 23rd. Let me know.
Bye
Keeping my post under 5 lines for you Ruth! Thanks for letting me know which days work for you - would love to hear what everyone's availability is like. The further into August would be better for me so I'm thinking the 23rd. How about you?
Looking at the district calendar, Davis county starts school on the 25th. Although I could go down on the 23rd, I think I would prefer the weekend before (16th). I think Ruth said that her sister was going to be in town that weekend and could come join the fun! Oops, I better stop writing, this is the 5th sentence. ;)
