Have you gals tried the view master card yet? We made one at club Tuesday night, and I was thinking about doing that if you all haven't done one yet. It's a little complicated, so we might want to all work on it together since it sounds like we are having a small group. Let me know, so I can start cutting things out.
I'll try and put one together. Val, since you've done a bunch of these, do you mind helping me with it? I'll have all the supplies to do one, but you might know a short cut on putting it together. We made two different ones on Tuesday night. I'll bring them to share as well. They are probably like the waterfall and slider cards. Once you get the hang of it, they are easy to do.
Are there only 6 of us coming? Val, Tracy, Amy, Mary Lou, Mom, and me... trying to get all my paper cut for the view master card. Anyone else wish to join us??
I'm not sure my SIL and I are going to make it...it's Ethan's 1st Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby and I don't want to miss it. If you don't know what that is...neither did I (until about 6 weeks ago). You are given a chunk of wood and 2 sets of wheels and you have to make a car out of with your parents...then, all the cub scouts get together and "race them" on some special track. There are prizes for the winners and, of course, the "most important part" are the memories that you have of the time spent with your parents making your own car. Sorry girls. My baby boy comes before stamping, but I'll find out what time the derby is, and I'll see if we can make both!!! (Hey, I'm greedy!)
OK! I can't believe that this Saturday is the 25th already! :shock: :gasp: Where has February gone?!?!?!?!?! What's the deal? We're planning for 6?
I'll probably cry the whole way home :( but am looking forward to some fun!
