I live in North Alabama about 25 miles South of Huntsville. Anyone close to me out there? I've been on SCS for a while now and I have yet to IRL "meet" any SCSers.
The other groups in this forum that get together and create makes me think surely there are some Bama and TN ladies that would like to too.
So,
* if you have any craft stores to let us know about close by....post in this thread. All I know of close to me is HobLob in Decatur & Huntsville. Then 4 hours away is the Scrapbook Superstore in Severville, TN. But I only get to go there when we go on a mountain vaca!
* if you know of any places to get together in our area and craft with other ladies...post in this thread.
* if you too are interested in getting together with your SCS sisters...post here. Maybe we'll be able to find a place and do some crafting!
Hi I live in Centre, Al about 25 miles east of Gadsden. We have quite a few ladies who like to get together and make cards. The only craft place we go to is Hobby Lobby in Gadsden. There are some in Birmingham and we also go to Georgia alot they have all kinds of craft stores there. We are probably about an hour and half from Huntsville. Just letting you know there are others out here that love Stampin Up. Jaeup51
Hi thanks for responding! I've heard of Centre. You're about an hour away from me. Yep, Hobby Lobby is the only one close to me too. That's one of the main reasons I signed up with SU! b/c I needed somewhere to shop! :mrgreen:

I'm going to the Chattanooga 1/2 day Regional in October so my DH would be sad if I in TN 2 weekends in October. But thank you sooo much for the invite! I hope to get together with some of you very soon.

Actually, the Chattanooga 1/2 regional is "guest friendly" this year. You have to be "invited" by a demo but guests are welcome to come.
I'm going with my upline and sideline. I've never been to a SU! anything (Nov. will be one year as a demo) so I'm excited to see what Regional is all about.

Do you have a date in mind? I wouldn't mind traveling down from Mid TN.
It would have to be November for me on a Saturday. I just don't know how to go about finding somewhere for us to meet. Do SCS ladies usually try to get a community center (& split rent cost) or someone's house...I'm clueless...I've never IRL met up with anyone on SCS.
