I now have a new beaglette, Bailey, and I had forgotten just how entertaining new puppies can be
Beagle Bailey? Now really! Is that any way to treat a new puppy? I can just see Sarge now, yelling at the poor thing and putting it on KP, lol. Seriously though, thanks for the kind thoughts. I get by most of the time, until one of her usual times for something - like the way she used to lay down between the dining room and kitchen while I did dishes, waiting to see if there would be any scraps for her... Awww phooey. I can't do this.
If you haven't yet paid for our Reisterstown swap and will be at Cindy's swap this weekend, I'll be happy to take your registration form and payment then. Will save you a stamp! Many thanks - look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday. Cathy
Bumping to keep this going - still have one spot left for our swap on the
27th. Hope someone would like to join us Reisterstown is in Baltimore County near Carroll County Rts 140 and 30. Thanks! Cathy
Sounds good, Kathy. September 27th seems so far away, but I was probably going to send out a reminder soon I'm looking forward to our swap - see you in a few short weeks! Cathy
Cathy,
If the open spot is still available Ashley's sister Amber would like to come. Let us know and we will put the check for both in the mail either later today or tomorrow.
Thanks.

Hi everyone! Our swap is just under three weeks away - can't believe it's almost here, and it will officially be fall by then! Theresa's got her card designed already, so I guess I'd better get on the ball If you haven't had a chance to slip your payment in the mail, it'd be great if you could send it to me. I'm going to take a look at the snack and beverage sign ups, and may do some minor tweaking or send some suggestions, if that'd be ok. I look forward to seeing everybody - will post driving directions in an upcoming post. See you soon! Cathy

Let me know if you want me to bring breakfast (blueberry bread) instead of dessert . . .
Lori - If you're not tired of making blueberry bread, we'll never tire of eating it! I think I'll take you up on your offer - thanks so much See you soon - Cathy
I vote for blueberry bread too. I usually am so busy doing registration and stuff first thing that I usually miss out at my swaps. I'm gonna scarf up a piece this time!! LOL
Donna - absolutely! Here are the directions to All Saints:
Beltway 695 to Exit 19 (I 795)
Take exit 7A Franklin Blvd; proceed to traffic light at Reisterstown Road (funeral home on right corner, EXXON station on left)
Turn left onto Reisterstown Road
Proceed approximately 2 miles on Reisterstown Road. After you pass the Chartley Shopping Center (look for Brick Bodies), the road will narrow from two lanes each way to one. You'll be heading into the "older" part of Reisterstown - lots of antique shops, etc.
Go past The COW (great gelatis, shakes, and other treats!) and through the light at Cockeys Mill Road
Next light will be E. Chatsworth Avenue --> Turn right here
Church is down the road about 1/4 mile on the left. If you reach the 4-way STOP sign, you've passed the church and gone too far.
Parking available in the rear of the church hall, where the swap will be held. Look for sign on the door.
I'll have my cell phone with me - 410-458-7788. Call me if you need to that morning!
I forgot to say that if you need directions from another location, let me know, and I'll be happy to oblige. Carroll County folks - you can get to Main Street in Reisterstown easily from Rt 30 or Rt 140. Let me know if you need better directions. Cathy
Hhmmm...I guess you could go either way, if you're near I70. I'd probably stay in Carroll County and come 27N -->26E -->32N -->91N --> 140E to Main Street in Reisterstown. Right onto Main Street (Royal Farms on your left, bank on your right), and then the first left onto E. Chatsworth. It seems like 70 to 695 to 795 would be a big circle and more mileage, but maybe not so on a Saturday morning. Anyway, sounds like you've got a couple of options!
