Watercolor Crayons being demostrated.....Sounds like a good enough excuse to order them to me.
I "think" I am down to my final choice of a card. Got it this week as a RAK and it is so simple and so WOW at the same time that I ask for permission to case it for the SU swap.
Double checking to see if you have me down.
Looking forward to that final count so I can get to cutting.

Granny,
I've got you down!!!
I've been out of the office since Wednesday & of course all of the swap info is there.
First thing on Monday morning, after I finish crying (sending my baby off to kindergarten) I'll get the final numbers to everyone.
I'd previously signed up to attend but did not sign up for a swap. I'd to do a shoebox swap (SU). I'm pretty new at this (swaps) so I hope detailed info is forthcoming (re: supplies, etc) !!! Looking forward to this event!
There should be a coffee pot in the clubhouse, I will check next week when I am in there to be sure. It is one of those 50 cup ones if it is there. There is an ice machine there. Coffee drinkers should bring cups. I can get some paper plates, napkins and tablecloths. Maria

I have the final results for each of the shoebox swaps.
For those participating in the NVR swap, you will need to have enough supplies for 6 people. Remember, you need to make a sample, supply needed items for each participant. Everyone is responsible for bringing their own adhesive.
For those participating in the SU! only swap, you will need to have enough supplies for 21 people. Remember, you need to make a sample, supply needed items for each participant. Everyone is responsible for bringing their own adhesive.
As for the games, I'm still not sure. I'm waiting to hear back from a few people.
Also, I still need someone to demo the Altoid boxes AND Drunken Chalks. Please PM me if you are interested in helping out with those techniques. If we are unable to get anyone to demo them, they will be dropped from the agenda.
Don't forget, bring your retired stuff to sell. We'll have a little 'yard sale'!
Is anyone scrapping this day or are we only stamping? I am in the NVR group so it sounds like I will have some extra time, I plan on bringing some scrapping stuff.
Coming from Hwy 20/Cumming area....It looks like from mapquest you just stay on highway 20, make a few turns til you get on Bells Ferry...is that the easiest way or is it easier to get to from 575? Thanks!
I had a couple of customers that are coming that also asked if there would be time to scrap....I told them there should be some time for that, I am going to bring some scrapping that I need to work on too.
If you are coming down I-75 South, it is pretty easy to take I-20 (towards Canton) W, then take a right onto Butterworth Rd, to get to Bells Ferry and head south (right turn). Then make a right onto North Victoria Rd after you cross over Lake Allatoona bridge at Little River Marina. You will then go straight through two stop signs, at the third stop sign, take a right onto Myrtle Rd., clubhouse on the left. Probably the easier route.

For the shoebox swap do we need to sign up or just bring something? I would like to do the SU! only swap if possible.
Thanks for organzing all of this!!!
By the way, if I have a few customers who want to come can they still join us, and if so for how much$$?

Everyone who wants to play needs to bring a gift wrapped all pretty. Let's make the gift stamp/scrap related with a price range suggested at $10-15.
The game is played by everyone drawing numbers to see the order that they pick a gift. You can chose an unwrapped gift or steal from someone else. A gift is frozen (can not be stolen) after it has been stolen twice. The player who drew #1 gets to pick again last.
I live in Adel, would love to get together and stamp with some others from this area. Private message me if you are interested. I am new and have no clue as to what in the heck I am doing(LOL)...
HEY KRISTA! Welcome and what a good place to jump into SCS! Hope you are enjoying perusing all the stuff this site has to offer. AND you won't find better ladies to answer your stamping questions and other stuff! I'm actually in N. FL, but...found out these ladies were gathering and I have an SCS budd - TMDmom and I've been trying to visit her for some time and this is just a PERFECT way to get together! Watch out for the SCS VORTEX - easily sucked in and very hard to get out!

Easy as pie.
I just wanted to add.... the gift will be NVR. Just as long as it's stamp/scrap related!
Did you get demos for all the demonstrations? I'm just wondering because I volunteered for one and haven't heard anything and I need to know if I should be getting prepared.
Thanks,
Jane
Allison,
can the gift be a retired stamp set or does it need to be a new item?
Suzanne
Suzanne,
I'm ok with it being a retired stamp set.
But don't forget, we will be having a 'YARD SALE' for those of us who would like to buy/sell/trade. Make sure you bring all of the retired stuff you have..

Jane,
I do have you down for the waterfall card. Stampintree will also be demoing this technique as well.
I do still have a need for Drunken Chalks demo or Stamping on tin box (altoid box) demo if you are interested in either of those instead.
I just found this thread and I am interested and would be coming from NW Fl.
Is there still time to sign up? If so, exactly where and what do I need to do at this point?
I bought an Adult Large Green SCS t-shirt and it is too big for me. If you would like to buy it from me at our gathering please pm me. I will sell it to you for what I paid for it.
For the SU only swap: does it need to be current onlt or can we used retired on it? Sorry if that is a stupid question. Last-minute Mel is still designing her swap!!!!

Hi ladies, I checked the clubhouse last night and there is like a 50-100 cup coffee maker there, so I will get it started Sat. morning with coffee for everyone.
