Now that we are on a roll, we need to decide a few things. First, should this be SU! only or NVR ? Second, food... pot luck, bring your own snacks or pizza? Next, shall we add 6x6 as an option or just stick with full cards.
We have the room starting at 9:30 (so some of us can set tables & chairs up)
Stamping can begin at 10:00 and run until 2:30.
2:30-3:00 we'll clean up. Any help would be appreicated.
There can be no buying or selling IN the library~ if anyone wants to list items for sale & make the deal here on line, they can make the exchange in the parking lot (rules, rules, rules! ;) )
Is there interest in playing the Dirty Stamper game again?
Don't forget the library is 5 minutes away from the Mall of Ga. so plan on shopping time .
oh, and to answer someones question~ this is open to everyone, not just demos. For those who are not sure what a shoebox swap is, it is a swap where you make a sample card and then supply all the fixin's in a baggie for everyone to make their own copy of your art. By using individual baggies for each card everyone will have enough supplies on hand & in case things run slow they can take any unfinished baggies home to work on later. Bringing a camera is a good idea, just in case. Don't forget to leave a stamping scrub with your shoebox so everyone can keep your stamps clean. Everyone needs to bring their own glue or mono. Having paper precut really helps a lot too. hmmm.... any more tips or ideas?
Well ... being a demo, I have more need for SU stuff, but I love to do stuff with other companies, too. Hmmm... that was pretty wishy-washy, wasn't it??! LOL!
I like the 'bring your own snacks' or order pizza for the crowd. I'm not big on the pot luck because I have a long way to go and too much going on around here to make anything good.
Whoo hoo!!! I'm coming home on March 9th so I'll be able to make it. Mark me down. Now, I need to read back through all the post and see what I need to do/bring. I'll talk to my mom and see if she wants to tag along and I'll let you know.
Thanks
Jennifer

I will need to bring Jaydin ... is that ok???
This will be fun! I'm looking forward to it!
Of course! Nursing babies have to stay with mom AND I can't wait to actually see her . The library only states that there must be at least one adult for each child there. Don't think that will be a problem;)
I am confirming! I will mark March 11th on my calendar! I vote for Pizza. (although I am easy to please...) I don't mind on the vendor requirements, but I would like to do at least one 6X6 page! That's my vote, but I'm up for anything! Looking forward to it!
Doty,
Count me in for sure! Had a great time before! I vote for pizza or subs, full SU cards. Or we could have some NVR and some SU, like before. Would prefer full cards as they are more usable than fronts. Anyone want to do a trading card swap?? Is there anything you need? I have a large 50 or 60 cup coffee maker. What about drinks? We could all bring our own. Snacks? Munchies? Please let me know if there is anything you need Andrea and I are close. Thanks for organizing this!!! See ya soon! Linda Seaman
Thanks! You are in charge of the coffee!!! While we sure didn't need anything hot last August, I bet it will taste great in March. If you & Andrea will come at 9:30 to help set up, that would be a huge help.
Granny finally mentioned it to me last night, and I would love to come. Right now it is a go, as long as that isn't opening day of ball season for the kids.

I just found this thread, and I hate that I will not get to join you guys this time!! I had so much fun last time, but I have 2 boys with birthdays on March 10th, so I'm sure that the 11th will be birthday party day! Maybe next time. ..
Have fun!

Glad you can join us! I'll put you down as a comfirmed & if things change just let us know.
Cups for the coffee would help ;) , paper plates for pizza & napkins would also come in handy. I love how you are thinking ahead, this is saving my brain from last minute *uh oh's*
I am a new member and a good friend of Linda Seaman's and Andrea. I want to join the shoe box swap. We will all ride together and I can help set up. What can I bring? Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you. Carla Ledford [email protected]

Wow! I just found this thread! Is a girl for Chattanooga, TN allowed to come stamp with you GA gals? If so, mark me down as interested. I may be doing a stamping/scrap booking fair the weekend before so I'm not sure if my DH will like being out of pocket 2 weekends in a row. I'll also see if my upline might be interested.
Dody, Carla here, I have larger than poster board glossy paper, a rather large amount, it's heavy enough not to blow or we could tape it to cover the tables - (just measured a piece - it's 23" x 35" - a nice medium weight - not as heavy, but almost as standard poster board - ANYWAY, do you think it would work?? Obviously I'll be happy to bring it. Thanks for hosting this, I can't wait.
Carla,
Well, we have 8 tables with 4 stampers at each table. Your guess is as good as mine! Bring it & if anyone else has anything that they think would work they can bring it too. I know we don't want to use newspapers cause of the ink but unprinted newprint or packing paper would work too. Really, I have NO idea what I'm doing, LOL! Many hands make light work~ thanks for helping
Mark me down as well. I would love to do the Shoebox swap this time (missed out last time) and I would prefer to do SU Full cards, but will do whatever the majority does.
I liked the bring some snacks and order pizza or subs.
I'll be bringing a nursling too, at least I'm guessing I will be bringing him/her with me.
Is everyone thinking about their swap????? We had such cute ideas last year, I am trying to come up with something fun. If I don't hear any complaints, I think we should make it full cards OR a 6x6 scrap page. If you decide to do the 6x6 use a few layers & embellish!!! ;) Would anyone want to donate a door prize(s) or prize for most creative swap????
Is there room for 1 more???? I just found out about this (thanks Allison!) and had so much fun last time. Let me know if there is room for me. I also would love to invite some other stampers so let me know the counts!
Check page 1 post #28 for the sign up list, I have been keeping it up to date. As of right now we have 23 signed up & can have up to 36. Keep checking this list to see who has comfirmed too, I'm sure there will be a few dropping out toward the end.
Just found this. Count me in please. I'm sure my husband won't mind a day alone with the kids.

Maybe I am way behind everyone else in this area but I just discovered a WONDERFUL scrapbook clearence store in the plaza across from the Mall of Ga. Everything is 50% off of marked prices & the selection is really good. If you live by here, it's between REI & Ross. If you're not from here but are coming to the swap, it's right by the highway (or about 7 minutes from the library)
