I'm getting so excited that I jumped off and ordered the new paper cutter to do all my swap cutting!!!All you gals from the Lake Jackson area, I teach in Angleton, although I live in Sugar Land. Can't wait to meet all of you!!!! The Austin gathering was soooo fun, and look forward to this one being a hit too!
Did you recently do a party for a lady named Leann? If so, you met my friend Catherine (her daughter, Brandy, is pregnant...and a natural at this stampin' stuff!!!). Where do you teach?

Everything's fine. Our district ladie's retreat is that weekend. And I do not normally attend these. But something happened with the location it was going to be at and now my church is hosting it. And that means our praise team is "performing" for this event...and I happen to be on the praise team. I play the flute...not sure if you knew that or not.
Anyway, tell everyone HI for me and hope y'all have a blast!

I'm so excited to see our paid list getting complete. We've been planning this so long and it always seemed so far away. Now it's just over 3 weeks away! Can't wait for it to be here! It's so fun to stamp and chat all day!
What hotel is everyone staying at? I am staying at the Holiday Inn. I did a lot of comparison shopping and here's what I came up with:
Courtyard Marriot: $99 a night (2 Queen Beds)
La Quinta: King/sofabed suite $107 a night or $97 a night Queen/sofa sleeper
Holiday Inn $60.72 a night (2 Queen Beds)
I found these prices at Orbitz and/or Priceline.com

Looks like priceline and orbitz is the way to go. I couldn't get any good rate when I called. My dad stayed at the Holiday Inn and was happy with it. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

TODAY IS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2006. We have 18 more days left until the Houston Shoebox Swap. The registration deadline was last Thursday, August 31, 2006. I know that some of you just found out your were able to come last week, but please get your registration to me this week. Yytx is the only one with an excuse for hers not to be here until later. If you are NOT going to be able to come, please LET ME KNOW ASAP so we can open up the swap to someone else who might want to come. Thanks everyone.
