More sad news. :( Just heard from Jenn Balcer and she tells me that her mom is not able to watch her kids that weekend so she's not able to come after all. Does anyone know someone who can go watch her kids for her??? :???:
Anyway, we now have 2 open slots so again if you know someone who would like to come, please let me know. Jenn's spot is paid for already. I'd sure like to get those spots filled, but if not, we're going with what we've got and will have a blast!

I would LOVE to have attended this. I am signed up for the Dallas one in October, but you are much closer to me, an easy drive! But the 23rd won't work for me :( Have fun ladies. I will definitely look for your next event!

There are 2 weeks until the Houston Shoebox Swap comes to fruition! I can't wait to meet all you awesome stampers! Presently I have 3, and maybe 4, who have signed up and have not paid or registered yet. Again, if any of you know of someone who would like to attend, please let me know or have them let me know and I'll put them on the wait list until Tuesday. If I have not heard from those who have not registered by then, those on the wait list will be moved up. I really want us to have a full roster of 45 stampers.

Hi, Annemarie! I am also looking forward to this event. I am using Wild About You for my card. We will be using the masking technique and we will get to play with the color spritzer. I hope everyone likes my card. I have been busy getting my doorprize together, too. I am really proud of it so far.

Hi Annemarie! I'll be using the new paisley background stamp along with It's Your Birthday. I'm really excited too! I can't believe it's just around the corner!
I just finally decided for sure on my card the other day, and I'm using You're So Neat! I love it and hope everyone else will too. Door prize! Yikes! Gotta figure that one out.

Since I've had no responses from nicksmom917 or Christina B, I've taken them off the list of attendees. We have 4 openings, so if anyone knows someone who would like to sign up and come, please have them PM me ASAP. We can take them up to the day before if they can PayPal their registration fee and e-mail me their paperwork! I'd sure like to have it full, but if not, we'll go with what we have.

I thought I'd post this link here on the thread about the Friday night dinner. We'll be making reservations on Wednesday. I wanted to make sure everyone saw it and has a chance to vote.
I'm moving to Galveston but not until the end of October which stinks because I would love to attend this event.
Anyone from Galveston? I would love to join (or start) a semi-monthly stamp/scrap group.
Where are you now? Sorry, I don't have anyone signed up from Galveston, but once you get down here you can post in the Get Together Forum and see if you can find some stampers.

The final count has been posted. We will have 38 stampers on Saturday, which will be 10 tables, 10 sessions with 4 at all tables except 2 tables which will have only 3 people. Can't wait to see everyone!

I've been busy with 2 granddaughters and my stamp club that I have gone through a lot of ideas for this swap. I have narrowed it down and am doing a halloween theme using Home is Where the Haunt Is. It's simple and my husband likes it. We will also be using a little bit of pearl ex.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the swap on Saturday! Oh, I also have my door prize for tomorrow.
