I really wish I was home that weekend to join you ladies! But business calls & my flight doesn't get back into Chicago until Sat. afternoon. Oh well next time! Have fun and make sure to post pictures of all the creativity!

Oh I can hardly wait. Just got an SU order in and have all the things I need for the swap!!! Yeah!!!! I feel like a group hug with all of you I am so excited!! Will March 31 ever get here?!?!

Ok, I'm a little late since I'm just catching up on a ZILLION e-mails after a quick vacation - my SCS name on the registration post is wrong-ish, there aren't actually any spaces between the "jennifer" hyphen "g" (I get the bonus points for SCS name creativity, huh?).
Can't wait! I need to clear off my stamping table so I can finish prepping for the party!
Just in case no one saw this on the news...
If you are planning to visit IKEA anytime after March 15th it will be BYOB...that is, Bring Your Own BAG! IKEA will start charging for their bags. I believe it will be five cents per bag unless you bring your own.

Thanks for the info. I'm coming from the Quad Cities and since we don't have an IKEA I was planning on doing some serious stocking up while I was in town stamping.

p.s. I'm kinda hoping someone will incorporate one of those cool Giga Scallop punches into their swap......
If anyone brings one with, could I borrow it a couple mins to make a few punches? I just cannot justify buying one right now with my limited supply budget.......and a new spring mini to try and ration myself on!

I'll bring my giga scallop circle and oval for u to make some. I'm staying Sat. nite at Hotel Indigo and if anyone else would like to punch some, you are welcome to do so.
Lisa, My friend Pam C. used my giga scalloped oval to puch out a TON to use in her shoebox for us!!!!

Lisa, not to give anything away, but I am using the Giga scallop in my card design and you are welcome to punch away, any color cardstock you choose. Now I have used it considerably; I've read somewhere you can sharpen it by punching through aluminum foil, is that true?

I Use HEAVY duty aluminum foil... followed by waxed paper to "lubricate" the pucnh.
btw... I received the coolest package today! 180 of SOMETHING RUBBER from SOMEONE who sells SOMETHING we all LOVE! Expect two of these SOMETHINGS in your Grab Bag! Hint... you may want to buy yourself an acrylic block if you don't already have one!

Sarah, you are such a TEASE! And I forgot to mention I have the giga oval scallop in case you wanted to know what shape! Still searching for the giga circle scallop.
this is just going to be the biggest blast....and since march is coming in like a lion the weather ought to be beautimous by end of March....out like a lamb, right. a cute warm fuzzy lil lamb? ??? I forgot we're still in northern illinois....UGH! i just want the sun! i need the sun. it makes me feel o so much better.

Woo Hoo!! So thrilled and relieved that I just completed my card design. I am going to use it a workshop too but with another color since I am using all of my apricot appeal...that is my only hint ! Hee Hee! Easy to complete in 10minutes or less! Now I can start working on my swap gift...hmmm what to make? I just moved back to the Chicago area and am so looking forward to meeting other stampers/scrappers!!!! I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS EVENT!!!! I am thinking about the ATC swaps too but have never made one. Need ideas so I am off to look at the ATC gallery!!!!
I have my card designed, supplies ordered and I have started cutting...so I a committed! I am also undecided about my gift exchange item. I am hoping to find some fun things are Target or the Dollar Tree this week to work with. I'm undecided on the ATC. I love swapping, but I never know what to do with ATCs when I get them home. See you all in a few weeks!
