good question; I thought I'd tell the group... remember you CAN bring a door prize, or several things to donate... it just can not be used to promote your SU or other independant consultant business... so no catalogs or gift certificates... and leave your contact infor off the gift. Also it should be related to papercrafting.

I would use an open tote... a crop/craft carrier like those cute ones from Micheals... or even another shoebox!

I use gallon sized ziplocs with my name on them, that way i can dump into it as I go. make sure your adhesive and other supplies have your name or initials on them, cause people tend to abandon things with reckless care as they wander back & forth!

Just want to ask a clarifiying questions. We are to make 7 completed cards, correct?? Or is that 7 for the Star Stampers and 1 more for Ronald McD House?? I'm thinking 7 total but I just wanted to double check and make sure.

I see now after re-reading this why this has been so unclear... You should bring 7 total completed cards. 6 for the star stampers and me... and one for the RMDH... so 7 total.



Swap Cards: 40 to make at the swap and 7 completed cards (6 for the Star Stampers and 1 is a donation for the Ronald McDonald House).



Please bag (or place in clear envelope) the completed cards for the Star Stampers with your recipe and personal info inside. There is no need to provide your information on the RMDH donation card; but please provide an envelope for this card and place in a baggie.



Do not write on or in any of the cards. It is acceptable to use a �stamped by� stamp on the back; but not necessary. See the details below for more Shoebox Swap specifics.

The ATC Swap: At this count we have 28 participants who have confirmed they will be participating in the swap. See the details below for more ATC specifics.

I am also attaching the final details... feel free to forward this document to your friends who say they have not received the details on the event. At thi spint I have done my best to contact EVERYONE... and I don't think I have missed anyone... but If I did... here is what you missed...

You can get either a Friday Night or a Saturday night stay (or both if you want) for $79/nite ($30 off reg rate!)

You will need to call and ask for the "SPLITCOAST GATHERING BLOCK" to get this rate. Checkin is at 3pm, Checkout is at 12 noon. You will need to call 847-359-6900 and let them know you are making a res for a room block for either 3/30 or 3/31.

well I love the thought of the hi rise cupcakes I saw on one of your blog links ...mmmmmmmmmmm lotsa frosting! yum! My good ole friend Betty (crocker) used ta make a cake mix that was a caramel flavored cake and then there was a frosting to go with it.....ummmy, that would have made good cupcakes, with a little bit of rum extract in it!

Hey Sarah, can I be a little picky about something. You mentioned that the ATC swap is card fromt only. But would you please ask everyone who is doing it to put the following info on their card backs:
name, date, card # and total # of cards (ie. 2 of 28 or 25 of 28 ), and contact info. This is something that is really part of the whole ATC thing and is so appreciated. Since ATC's are not usually passed along to someone else after you get one from someon, it is nice to be able to go back and see who it was from. Would this be fine???

I think you just asked! I never saw the numbering system before... don't know if you'll get it from EVERYONE... as I think most stampy ATC swappers look at these as "mini card fronts"... kwim. But I think it's a sensable suggestion, and I hope many of the participants will see this and follow suit!
