ditto to the above note - I live in Aurora - I was a diamond and would love to see the heart cards (plus the 2-3 diamond cards that I never picked up because I ran out of time) - how about a mini reunion where we ooh and ahh over the other half?

Okay, but Jackie you failed to tell them WHY we are the DORKS!!! We made cards for Jackie from all the tables.....but the table we dorks had our cards at........oh, heavens! I guess we are living up to our names.......and poor sweet Jackie doesn't have a one of our cards! LOL!!!!
We saw the bag full of goodies for Jackie....really, you guys are so generous....the true heart of the SCS Sisters shines through again! Thanks, Ladies!!!
Where and when, baby?!? My DH just left town for 4 days and I'm a SAHM w/a not-quite-two year old girl (lucky me). I'd love to see what you guys made!
When are you free? I'm busy tomorrow am (a little late now anyway) and Friday pretty much all day. I guess that leaves Thursday, which I was planning to use to iron my 3 drawers full of wrinkly clothes, but I guess I can throw myself on the sword and delay it another week!! :rolleyes:
Do we have to accomodate naps? Want to meet at a kid friendly place or someone's house? My house is in NO WAY kid proof, since my "kid" is almost 16, but we could have it here if you'd like!

Hi ladies.
At the swap on Saturday someone had a really cute accordion book that was blue for a baby boy on display. It was on the display that was on the far left hand side table when facing the front (near the binder with all the wedding invites).
Anyway, I went on a SCS forum and asked for directions on how to assemble the accordion book and no one responded to me. I wanted to make something similar for a wedding shower next week, so I am looking for directions ASAP.
If you know how to make them and could send me directions/measurements, I would TOTALLY appreciate it. It was a small square accordion album.
Are the cards going to be uploaded into the gallery? Should each of us upload the card we made and put heart/diamond in the description?

I thought Sarah was going to post them all, but maybe her batteries finally wore out and she's taking a much needed nap! I like your idea of putting heart or diamond (but Sarah probably doesn't know that)!

Did you find anything yet?? I know Lois (Minister's Wife) has done accordian swaps...she's hosting one now... you might PM her for directions or to see if it's similar to the one you saw at the swap.

Sounds good - I should be able to make it. Is the Panera actually inside the Mall or a free-standing building? I was in the diamond group - should I bring my cards or do you have that covered? Looking forward to being dazzled by the heart cards.

This Panera is inside the mall, near Sears and TGI Friday's. You can enter from the outside, too. And there's a kiddy area too. Yippee!!! The more the merrier!
Should we wear nametags and indicate "heart" or "diamond?" I feel so branded. Please know I am not serious about the nametags!

Did someone suggest a weekend swap for the next time -- hearts on Satuday and Diamonds on Sunday with socializing on Saturday evening? Just kidding, Sarah! ;-)

Karan---we'll see you there! I was planning on bringing my Diamond Cards as well as my ATC cards I swapped. I did get to finish all 40 of the cards (pretty sure I was the last one stamping lol)
Then entrance to Panera faces Rt.30 right by what TGIFriday's (also IN the mall)

Thanks for offering to bring your Diamond cards to the Louis Joliet gathering - I definitely missed 3-4. Could someone also bring their completed StarStamper cards? I ran out of time and totally blew off that section - it was always so busy - guess I need a different strategy for next time. And I'll bring my leftover ATCs in case we didn't have a chance to trade. Hope we have someone from the Heart group -would love to see them. Can't wait til Monday!

Lucky me... I got to go to Sarah's (staramaze) house yesterday and look through all 80+ cards! Wow, everyone did such a great job. Wish we could have made all of them!

I was a heart but I gave my sample to Catherine(Irishcpa) so I need to make another one up with my leftover supplies to put in my gallery so I will post as soon as I do that.
Ok, so we're meeting at Panera at 930 on MOnday...any clues as to how we'll find each other? KImberlee and I know each other, and I guess my clue is that I"ll have a white shoebox full of cards...and I love the nametag idea, since I SUCK at remembering names...I'll get a table for 8 (really, 4 tables shoved together) and we usually sit near the entrance to the mall...if that makes sense...and I"m sure I'll have a travel mug with tea in it...so....see you all on Monday!!
Lana!! Don't you remember when I sat down to do your card, I gasped? You said something to me about it and I just thought it was beautiful! I think I made the comment that I didn't feel worthy to make it...at least, I think I said that about your card! LOL
Geesh, it's sad when we remember cards more than faces, huh? I'm sure we'll all recognize each other Monday. I'll probably show up closer to 10...I always run late. So save me 3 seats!!
Just following up as a result of a few emails I have received.... Your email addresses were not given or traded with ANY other sources. I will not give, sell or trade for your email addresses. I guess some people received some unwanted solicitations this week and asked if I had provided email addresses... NO WAY! And with each email sent out to you for this event I was careful to BCC each address so your email would not be inadvertantly shared.
