Trace or Anyone else--I need idea's for baby announcements. I'm going to start working on these after christmas cards, I want something I can add the info later, w/ a picture, but I want to get these done soon. I want PINK, but not sure which to use! I want these to be pretty.
Depending on how many cards you have to do, I would do a 6x6 square card and use the vellum envelopes. Just stamp a layered border along the left side, and title at the bottom. Then all you have to do is put the picture on the front when its time.On The inside have the babies info.
I did a similiar card, but it was for a family new years card. I can email you a picture if you like.
Have you picked out the baby stamp sets yet? I have several baby stamp sets if you want to test any out or borrow some.

I have been thinking the same thing. I have been EXTREMELY busy with making Christmas Party invites, Christmas cards, 50th Wedding Anniversary invites, and 275 totally totebags (enlarged by 140%)!!!!!!! Just got all those done this past Sunday!
So now I am going to clean my space up and have people over to scrapbook on Saturday.
I also have had two workshops in the last 5 weeks. The first that I have done in about 2 years!!!!!
I am a little crazy schedule wise but just let me know!
Thanks Darcy I did have a great day! I went out to eat with Christi and then my Aunt came in and brought me cake and some awesome smelling flowers!! It was fun!

I have been super busy with the new catalog and all of the Retirement Stuff, but hopefully, after school starts we will be able to have a get together. It seems like forever since I have seen ya!!!! We'll talk soon.

Okay... how exciting! I'm in Cabot and new to this whole SU stuff... I would love to join in... however, I'm not much into the ATC's. Is there another swap going on that I haven't read about yet?

ATC is for Artist Trading Card. It is a very small version of a card that people can collect for inspiration. You can get 10 ATC's out of 1 page of cardstock. ATC's can inspire you about color combo's, stamp sets, techniques...etc....but not take up the space of a ton of swap cards and layouts.
Ift you search for ATC in the gallery it will pull up plenty of examples.
There is a new book coming out in the holiday mini that holds ATC's. Also ATC's can also be cropped. They are great for those school wallet pictures.

UM I am brain dead what is ATC??
I'm extremely old to the area... as I have lived in Central Arkansas my entire life (all 25 years of it). I've just found Stampin Up, heard about this site from my demo person (well, she does our club... is she still a demo person?) and realized there were some locals. I'm excited to get to know all of you and probably realize that I do know you because, like I said, I've lived here forever and I do have connections! LOL

Jill Sanders is my demo girl and she just moved here from Ohio. She mentioned it in our first club gathering, so I checked out the gallery where I have spent most of my time. I then realized that there were swaps (and I love swaps) so I joined SCS, then realized there was a local group. How exciting.
As far as knowing you, give it time. It seems like the whole state is 6 degrees to me or my mom. I even have people come up to me and ask if I'm my mother's child. Wierd...

I joined SU after 1 party and 1 stamp camp. I was hooked and I've had so much fun the last 3 years!!!! It just gets better and better. And now that you are a member of the SCS family...it's all over!!! You will be hooked!! LOL

Welcome Tiffany! I, too, grew up here and may have seen you somewhere in passing. I went to school in Jacksonville and now live in Cabot.
I'm going to be planning a get together sometime after school starts, so we'll have to let you know when that will be.
Hey Hollie! How have you been? Are you staying busy with your business? I'm stilling booking like a crazy woman and doing my Stamp Club. I'm going to look at my calendar tonight and see about planning the next get together.

My calendar is filling for September so the sooner we can settle on a splitcoast date the better.
I'm trying to do more scrapbooking and ventured a little into the lunchbox tin arena some.

I know what you mean about the calendar filling up, mine is pretty well full, too. I think that I have the 16th & 23rd left open, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'll check tonight.
I have a couple of lunchbox tins, too and have even bought the plastic templates to do the tops. But, of course, they are still sitting there! LOL! I have been doing a Crop once a month for my Customers, but I haven't gotten much scrapbooking done for myself. I usually find something else that needs to be done. I am going on my first Scrapbooking Retreat at Petit Jean Sept. 8-10, so I'm hoping to get some serious scrapbooking done then.
