I live between Springfield, MO and St. Louis and would love to meet reguarly with stampers to get new ideas and have fun. I have responded to other posts in St. Louis since I'm frequently there or would go there for stampin fun. I'm a demo but just want to play sometimes without being in charge. People are welcome in my home or we could meet somewhere else. I'll drive to have fun stampin. We could arrange swaps (no pressure) or just get together and trade ideas. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Thank, Ellen

Okay, since I'm in the middle of nowhere Ok and I grew up in MO I want to know where you are. My brother went to college in Rolla and I dated a guy from Doolittle, he went to school in Newburg. (or the other way around.) Had some friends from Cuba... So where are you from?
I know i totally don't live in your neck of the woods.....but my husband just did!! He just came home from Ft. Leanardwood, and i was down there a while. I'm sorry you're having trouble finding stamping buddies. Hang tight, "If you stamp it, they will come". heehee
i live 45 min s of st louis in festus.. i would love to meet with people, i just signed up this week to be a su demo... feel free to pm me or email me [email protected] if you all plan something - i just moved back to the area after being in pa for 3 yrs i .. i need to make some stampin buddies out here and share ideas
I don't scrapbook, but my DD is into it in a major way. When she has time, which is almost never, but she loves it. She is big on ferreting stuff out and always getting it at a great price.
I'd enjoy meeting up with someone though.
I've met with some women on other boards. I imagine I could get some of them to vouch for me in writing. You know, like I don't slurp soup or make wierd noises with my mouth.
lou, I know several different people who all say they're in the middle of nowhere in OK.
I just wanted to say hi, I grew up in St. Louis, moved to a small town near Rolla Missouri off and on thru out my childhood and teen years, as my parents live there premanently now.. and went to college in Springfield Missouri... Moved to St. Paul , Minnesota with my husband.
I'm in the St. Charles area. I'm actually not all that far from where you told me you live. I know the area very well. I get together with people no less than once a month to stamp. I'll be doing stamping get togethers three times in September that I know of so far. Let me know if you're interested.
Hmmm. I wonder if you know my DD? I don't know what name she uses, though.
I work over on Page at the military records center. I come out the Page extension every day and usually get off at........shoot, I can't remember the name of that road....the one that is partly Hackman, but the other part.
Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?
I'll ask my DD if she is interested (she always is) and see about getting you all together on the phone. I'll get back to you cause I'm heading home right now.
I live in Nixa, MO but grew up in Salem. That is 28 miles SE of Rolla so still halfway between St. Louis and Springfield. Five other SCS's and I just did a get-together in Branson the 13th of August and we plan to make it an annual event. We would also like to get together sooner if possible. If anyone is interested pm me and maybe we could work something out in a central location for everyone. A couple of the girls that came to Branson are from Arkansas, one is located on the quiet side of Table Rock Lake, one is from Washington and the other is from Florida. We did a shoebox swap and had an absolute blast. Hope to hear from some of you!
I'm in Springfield and would love to meet with everyone!

This thread is really making me wish we had decided to move to "The Lou!" We had a chance to a few years back, but decided it wasn't a good idea (for many reasons of which I may "vent" about on another thread on another day!).
Enjoy that incredible area and HAVE FUN STAMPIN' with all the cool SCSer's out there!!!
pam, I have a bunch of friends who live in Salem and have for years. Does the name Jordan ring a bell? There are quite a few of them.
bunny...leasburg? I don't see it listed in the Atlas. I'm trying to scrounge a map. I find it amazing....I work at the military records center in St. Louis where there are always new people coming in...and not one of them has a map of Missouri.

Ooops. Back later.
Leasburg is a VERY small town east of Cuba and west of Sullivan (I know those towns will be on the map). If old Hwy 66 is on the map, follow it to Leasburg. I can't think of the other roads right now. Leasburg will be closer to Cuba than to Sullivan. It's really close to Bourbon if that's on your map.
Hey, I went to Leasburg just a few months ago! That's not too far from where I am in Shrewsbury (at least not too far to get together and stamp). We camped at the Ozark Outdoors RR and then went on a float trip. It was sooo pretty! Okay, anyone want to plan a STL get together? I am down to hlep out or even plan one! LMK~Jaala
i didnt mention in my last post but me and my husband lived in rolla and graduated from umr several yrs back.. i wish that area was closer for meeting up w/ people.. where do u all meet if you do a half way thing? i am going to try and post for some st louis people
