If this isn't the same hotel we used for the last one when Heidi organized it - it must be right next door. The big boy is right there and the applebee'e we ran across the road and ate there...
I have NOTHING packed. I finally put my shoe box stuff in a box but nothing else is packed. I don't even have my swaps done and I have a girl scout leaders meeting to attend tonight too. OOOHHH, I have alot to do tomorrow!
Does the hotel have a hot tub and a pool? Oh I am excited. I have all my stamp packed, the clothes Im wearing are in the dryer. I have to get the directions. My Dh was down there working last week and said there is a cracker barrel close too. I love the cracker barrel. Oh any good stamp stores worth going to in Okemos? See ya'll tomorrow.

There's a Michaels right next to the Cracker Barrel, if it's the same one your dh is mentioning. Also, there's a Hobby Lobby and Pages In Times a few minutes from Cracker Barrel. Pages In Times is open until midnight on Friday's, and it's the biggest scrapbook store I've found in Lansing. I love that store, but it's easy to spend way too much money whenever I go there.

I almost in the same boat as Heidi. Nothing ready, but I have the day off and the kids are at daycare so hopefully I can get some done today before we leave!
Photos to Scrapbooks, is in the corner of Jolly and Okemos roads, near the hotel. The store does carry some stamps.

I am very excited Of course,I never get as much done at these as I think I will--because I am too busy visiting! I packed everything but the kitchen sink.
I usually babysit on Fridays until 5:30 for a friend, but she is going to be here by 2pm so I can leave early!!! What a pal!

Can't pick up my spring mini preorder like they told me I would be able to cause the CAN'T FIND IT :(
Tracking says out for delivery - driver says it's not on the truck (course this is the same driver who often delivers my stuff to the wrong house, even though I get several packages a week:rolleyes: )
Rude lady at local hub says I'm out of luck, they'll probably deliver it on Monday

OK, deep calming breaths... I'll live, I'm all packed finally. Didn't get my swaps made or my shoebox stuff cut, but I'll do that tonight. I think I need a glass (bottle!) of wine when I get there

One of the things I was in total AWE over......some of these women had more stuff at the get together, then I have in my whole craft room!!.....I am soooooo deprived!!:confused: :confused:
I think we need to do this more then just once a year!~!
A couple of my pics didn't come out good so I didn't post those. So if you have more of the challenge cards please post them. I didn't get any of the take out boxes...or the flower fest challenge

Snow day yesterday and today for my kids - lots of snow yesterday that by evening turned to ice. Then more snow on top of that today. It took DH over 2 hours to shovel the driveway this morning -- then he called in sick! Can you hear him coughing right now??!!
