I designed my card last night too Theresa and cut up all the cardstock. Going to separate it today during lunch, and then I think I'm pretty much ready to roll.
Hello Girls.... I am looking SO forward to Saturday!!! (Well.... not the getting up SO early to make the trip down part!!) ;)
I looked at the list of who is coming & what everyone is bringing. I'm SUCH a slacker!!! I keep forgetting to give it a thought.
I'm not someone that enjoys cooking (After the many years of doing it, it's just become TOO much of a chore for me anymore!! ) BUT..... I certainly want to bring something to share!!!!!
Joan, I know Connie suggested deviled eggs which are always good, but here are a few other options - a dessert, tea, potato salad, chips & pretzels - that's all I can think of right now.
Joan's going to bring either donuts or muffins to fill in for breakfast, so that is taken care of.
If there are others who haven't decided what to bring yet, see my previous message for ideas. We should have a yummy smorgasboard of things to enjoy for lunch. I'm hungry already.
See you in the morning around 9:00. We're setting up tonight at church, so I hope no one spooks Danny and me in the church. That would be the end of me!!! LOL
Cindy,
Is the church off of Bel air rd behind a shopping center (outback?). How far down Bel air road?
JoAnn
Yes, it's the same location it has been for the last several swaps. You probably go 3-4 miles up Belair Road maybe. Really not sure of that distance. You'll go past Chick-fila and then you'll make a right between the two gas stations at Ebenezer Road.
If you are bringing any type of dish that needs a serving utensil, please make sure you bring a utensil with you. We don't have a kitchen at the church with those sorts of supplies. Thanks!
My swaps are bagged and the deli tray is in the fridge. I even made time to carve the pumpkins!! Now, in between any trick or treaters I need to pack up my box and all the stuff I'll need for me. See you in the morning!!!!!
Cindy,
Thanks again for another wonderful day of stamping, friendship, and fun. The spiders were cute and the variety of cards was welcome! Thanks everybody for your ideas and the great food!
Cindy,
Thank you for all your hard work and even getting sponsors! I really like the Kitchen Sink Stamp set you gave me. I guess you are getting so well known that they are willing to be sponsors for your swaps. Just shows a great job is definitely notices.
Thanks to everyone for making this another successful swap. I couldn't do it without all of you!!
Thanks to those who stayed and helped clean up - I really appreciated it!
The food was awesome, the cards rocked, and the entire day was wonderful.
Joan, thanks for posting the pictures you took. They are great.
And if Kitchen Sink Stamps and MFT check in, thank you so much for sponsoring our event and donating the prizes. There were some excited winners today.
I also want to thank you all for the abundance of cards for the card ministry. All I can say is WOW!!! You have no idea what your donations mean to me and the church. Thank you so much!!
Thank you Cindy. I had another great day of stamping some wonderful cards and spending time with friends old and new. You do such a wonderful job organizing the swaps and they are a joy to attend.
Inky Hugs,
Kathy

My friend Norma & I had a great time on Saturday. Thanks for everything. I can't wait to try out the set I won from Kitchen Sink Stamps.
One card will be cased for a party invitation for my mil's 70th b-day in December. It is the one with the cat! My DH & SIL thought it would be perfect for her.
Marcia - we had a great time visiting with you.
Cindy - thanks for all the hard work in coordinating the swap - your work is greatly appreciated and we are looking forward to the next one.
I just wanted to let everyone know that the cat card was totally CASEd from SCS. I didn't change it one bit except to use all SU cardstock. (I don't have an original throught in my head)
Had a fantastic time on saturday!!!
Thanks Cindy for organizing a great swap. You must have got those great planning skills from BK (LOLOL)
This was my first swap. I hope to attend many more. Thanks Cindy for all your hard work in putting it together. I love my new cards! I can't wait to use them and take all the credit for creating them. lol.
During lunch, I heard a few people saying they'd like recipes for certain things. From what I remember, here are the items that were mentioned. Please post your recipes here, so everyone can enjoy them.
