Cheese and crackers is fine. Thanks for dropping off your check - I'll grab it when I get home.
Girls, I need a huge favor tomorrow afternoon. If you can stay and help clean up tables, chairs, vacuum or anything like that, I'd really appreciate it. I had a surgical procedure done on my shoulder this afternoon that was supposed to be done last Friday, but that's a long story I won't bore you with - anyway, Danny has been invited to NY tomorrow for the US Open Practice Rounds in tennis, so I told him to go - once in a lifetime thing for him. He's gonna set up everything tonight, but I'll need help with clean up tomorrow, since I've been restricted from any lifting. The only good thing is that I can stamp - just not push it too much - rest when it starts to hurt, etc. I was really worried stamping would be out of the question, but the dr's assistant said I should be fine if I don't do any marathon stamping. Ha! She's never been to a SBS before!
So any help tomorrow after the swap would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry there are enough of us to help it will take no time at all to clean up.
If my ride is good to stay you can count on me too! I can't see why we wouldn't be able to all pitch in and get it done like before. What a trooper you are! See you in the morning. My brownies are coming out of the oven in a couple of minutes.
Thanks to everyone for pitching in and helping with clean up today. I really appreciate it. Thanks for making this another successful shoebox swap. Cards were great, food was yummy, and how nice to meet some new people and see lots of familiar faces.
Just a reminder that my next swap will be November 1.
Thank YOU Cindy, for another successful swap!! It was a wonderful day and I met new friends, made great cards, AND came home to clean bathrooms and dinner!!!!!! What more could a gal ask for?! Be sure to let us know when you will post the Nov. 1st signups.

Wow Theresa! Clean bathrooms and dinner - that's awesome.
Thanks for all the great cards donated for the card ministry. Now to get the ladies at church together to stamp verses inside and get these puppies on the card rack. Thanks so much!
I wanted to know if cpitarra4 (Chara) would be willing to post her Ceasar Chicken Salad Pizza recipe for us. Something new that I have not had before and would love to try and make it.

Oh Cindy, I'm sorry to say I won't be able to attend your Nov swap. We'll be busy finallizing things for the FT Meade Nov 8th. Hopefully we can catch you next time.
Oh my goodness!
What a terrific swap yesterday!
THanks Cindy for all you did for us!
I love the buggy brads door prize and my grandaughter will love the cute tiny purse they were packaged in.
I also would like the recipe for the chicken caesar salad pizza,
and also for Jen's eclair dessert.
Thanks!

Cindy, I didn't read the email post until today about needing help cleaning up and your shoulder issues. I hope all is okay with you and thank you so much for such a wonderful time. I enjoyed my virgin swap! Everyone was so delightful and I have some wonderful cards and even more wonderful memories. My niece enjoyed it also and is ready to try it on her own! I need to check in with her about November 1. I will get back to you. OH yeah, and I need the recipe for the pizza thing and the dessert that was so good, like an eclair. Excellent!

Eclair Dessert
For everyone who asked here is the receipe for the Eclair dessert that I made. I lightened up the receipe by using 1% milk, the low fat graham crackers and the fat free cool whip. I also didn't use the peanut butter since I am allergic to that!! Hope you enjoy it, its super quick and easy to make!! I also saw a receipe that you can use a can of already made chocolate frosting for the top instead of melting down the chocolate and pouring it on, so keep that in mind too!
Have fun.
Prep Time:
30 min
Total Time:
8 hr 30 min
Makes:
24 servings, one piece each
1-3/4 cups cold milk
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
24 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams 6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
3 Tbsp. butter
POUR milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Add peanut butter; mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping. Layer one-third of the grahams and half of the pudding mixture in 13x9-inch dish, breaking grahams as necessary to fit. Repeat layers. Top with remaining grahams.
MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min., stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spread over grahams.
REFRIGERATE at least 8 hours. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
Ingredients: 2 Packages of crescent rolls, 1 package of cream cheese ( I used lite), 1 bunch of romaine lettuce chopped, 1/2 red bell pepper chopped, 1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup fat-free caesar salad dressing, 1 garlic clove pressed, 3 boneless chicken breast cooked ( I grilled mine), black olives-optional- I didn't use these
Directions: Preheat oven to 375.
1. Unroll both packs of crescent rolls onto bar pan, or any pan with sides. Roll out flat like a pizza crust. Prick holes into the crescent rolls with a fork. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool for about 15 minutes.
2. Combine 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, dressing, & garlic. Mix well.
3. Place cream cheese in a separate bowl and mix. Add half of the dressing mixture and mix well. Chop 1 of the chicken breast into small pieces and add to cream cheese mixture. Stir well. I used my Pampered Chef food chopper to chop the chicken.
4. Slice remaining chicken into thin strips and set aside.
5. Slice lettuce, peppers, and olives if you use, and add them to a large bowl.
6. Add the remaining dressing mixture and toss to coat.
7. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust. Top with salad mixture. Arrange chicken strips over salad and sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.
8. Cut using a pizza cutter.

I want to add my thanks to Cindy for another fabulous swap! As always, everything was wonderful, great cards, yummy food and awesome door prizes! I really love my door prize, I had been eyeing that Inkadinkado stamp with the birdhouse so you can imagine how thrilled I was to get it in my bag! I also loved the Cuttlebug folder and the hemp twine! Unfortunately I won't be able to make the Nov. 1st swap as my brother is getting married that day but I'm sure I will see you at other swaps. Thanks again for everything you do to make your swaps so much fun! I hope your shoulder is on the mend and won't hinder your stamping too much!

Cindy-
I think the gel pen is mine, but I wasn't sure since I couldn't remember how many I have packed in my bag. So if no one else claims it, please keep it. I buy them like I buy candy.lol Thanks again for hosting the swap.

No way Cindy! Keep it, or toss it out! Please don't mail it, I have plenty and you certainly don't need anything else to do.
Thank you again for a wonderful swap! Wonderful cards, excellent food, and a few new friends, it was a great day!
