Our next shoebox swap will be on Saturday, March 10, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Faith Fellowship Church, 4375 Ebenezer Road, Perry Hall, MD. This swap’s theme is floral and manly cards. When you sign up for the swap, please list which card you'll be doing - floral or manly. We'd like to have half of those attending do floral and the other half do manly cards.
There is room for 31 people to attend with each person bringing a shoebox swap for everyone to make and something to share for lunch. There is a $5 charge per person for the hall rental which will be collected from you when you arrive. We need to turn over the money that day to the church.
All cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc. Please also bring your own adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies (stamps, ink pads, scissors, punches, etc.) are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. Please also have typed instructions along with your sample in the box.
All cards or projects must be made using Stampin' Up stamps, cardstock, inks, etc. Stamps and colors can either be current or retired.
Please bring something to share for lunch. When you sign up for the swap, please also post what you’ll bring for lunch. We do not have use of an oven, so please do not bring anything to be baked or that needs to be heated up. Crock pots are welcome. There are refrigerators there we can use.
There will be several door prizes throughout the day. And we will also be doing the card ministry drawings again (2 or 3 prizes), so bring your cards to donate. These can be old swap cards, card fronts, or even one of the cards you are doing for the swap. We collected a huge assortment of cards in November which was awesome. That really kept our card rack full.
To sum up what you’ll need to bring – a floral or manly themed shoebox swap, something to share for lunch, and cards for the card ministry.
So start posting your RSVP’s and what you’ll share for lunch. Any questions, post them here or PM me. I’m hoping for a great turn out.
I'll be there and I'll do a Manly card. Do men like flowers (LOL). Just kidding. I promise, I'll do a Manly card. I'll wait to see what is needed as far as food goes.

Count me in! I'll do a floral card for the swap. I'll bring chips and homemade black bean salsa for a treat--that should go well with the taco pinwheels!
I was going to have a stamp class that day but will change it. Don't want to miss this! I'll be there and do a floral card since there are less of them. I'll bring chicken salad.

Hello, Nothing was on the calender yesterday then 2 things came up at once. Looks like Mary K. will take Courtney for me and I can come and stamp. Amen for friends. I can bring sodas reg and diet and brownies. A female is for me. Pam

Since we are all preparing for 30 people to do our cards, that means we have room for 31 ladies. And that means there is room for just one more person. If you are interested, please sign up fast. I can't believe in 4 days we had 30 spots fill up. That's awesome!!

Cindy, thanks for holding a maybe spot for me, but I won't be able to come. We'll be travelling home from the Outer Banks that day. I can't believe I have to miss another one! Shoot!!!!

Thanks Kathi for the sweet comment!! Robin, sorry you can't make this one. There will always be more since the turn outs are awesome.
There is now room for two more people to sign up. We can take one or two more sign ups for florals and then the other has to be manly. There are a few of you who signed up that didn't select, so you'll need to post that. But please remember, one or two more floral and then the rest manly cards.
And please also remember that everyone will need to prepare enough supplies for 30 people to make your card, since we might have 31 people in attendance. That way, you will take 30 cards home.
I'm so looking forward to this even if it's two months away.
Guess what? I was able to change my out of town business plans to a different weekend. Sooo Kewl--because now, I can attend this wonderful event.

Please tell me there is a space left for me. I have wanted to attend the last two you had planned, but they conflicted with other events I was committed to. If there is room, I would like to do a manly card and bring swedish meatballs (yes, I have my own crockpot). Please, please say yes!

Ladies, we are now full again. We have 31 attending, so everyone needs to bring enough for 30 people to make their cards.
If for some reason you find out you need to cancel, please post as soon as you find out, so I can fill your spot. I will start a waiting list if need be.
