This is just amazing that this filled up so fast. It must be a good thing happening. Thats the way it goes when you do something good. Way to go Cindy and all those that help her out. Thanks for all you do, Pam
Don't forget to sign up for food or drinks. We seem to have plenty of desserts, so we won't need any more of those. Thanks again for filling this swap up so fast.
Also a reminder, if you cannot attend, please post ASAP, so someone on the waiting list has enough time to plan a swap card.
Disclaimer for Cindy and Theresa......
The following news could be harmful to your opintion of me (LOL).
Read at your own risk.........
Don't say I didn't warn you :-)
Believe it or not, I have designed my card already for the swap! Yes, yes I know the swap is more than a month away (stop laughting-LOL) but I had an idea and I ran with it, oh I mean stamped it.
Of course it is not cut yet, just designed.
Just poking a little fun at myself while waiting for March 10th to roll around.
I can't wait. It is on my calendar circled in RED

Good Grief! I've just gotten through a bunch of other things and decided it is time to start thinking about my card, and here I find you way out ahead of me.
Theresa,
Don't forget to take your Hemostat to the swap :-)
(is that spelled right??)
Hmmm. Looks ok to me  At least, I know what you mean. Now remind me again right before the swap, lol.
Does this mean your card uses ribbon that needs to be tied  ?
Don't forget gals to post what you'll bring to eat/drink. And if you find out you can't make it, please let me know since our waiting list is growing. Enjoy your weekend!
I don't think that I will be able to make this one. Just found out that my husband is on call the night before and the day after the swap. He will need Saturday to catch up on his zzzzzzz's. Have Fun!
Sorry you can't make it Kristy. Keep your eyes open for one in May possibly. Still working on a date.
I've PM'd Patricia to see if she's interested in filling this open spot, since she is first on the waiting list. So ladies, the swap is still technically full.
Also, we could use some sort of breakfast stuff - donuts, muffins, bagels, juice, etc. Nothing that needs to be baked though, since we have no oven to use. If you haven't signed up for food yet, let me know if you are willing to help out here.
I'll bring a loaf of blueberry bread for breakfast, too (in addition to the chips and homemade salsa I already signed up for). Thanks again for all that you do to organize these events. I'm looking forward to it.
Someone has graciously donated a Level 3 current hostess set, and I've donated a Level 2 current hostess set as card ministry prizes. For these sets, there is a catch to winning them. For your first card you donate for the card ministry, you'll get a raffle ticket. For every 5 more cards donated, you'll get another ticket. There is no limit of tickets you can earn, you'll just need to donate 5 cards for each ticket after your first ticket. The first ticket drawn will get the Level 3 set, and then the second ticket drawn will get the Level 2 set. Hope this catches your fancy. We're just trying to keep the swap lively.
Hope you are all planning your cards. Me, I haven't started yet, but I'm a last minute person anyway. I did get to do some stamping on my snow/ice day today, so that's been fun.
Hope everyone's safe in this weather. Only a few more weeks until our swap - yeah!

Wow! I'll say it catches my fancy!!! I've been pondering my card but haven't gotten it done yet.
Oh yes, this absolutely catches my fancy too! I've got an idea floating around in my head for my card but haven't started putting anything together yet either.
Only a couple more weeks to go before our big swap!! Remember, if you have to cancel, please post ASAP, so I can get someone from the waiting list to attend. Enjoy your weekend!
Just wondering who is ready? I got to think of my idea. If you know what you are doing. What set are you using? (If you would like to disclose). So we don't have to many with the same set. Pam
Susan's great nephew, Noah, is awaiting a heart transplant at a hospital in DE. I'd love to surround him with cards from all of you. If you could, please bring a card for him, and Susan will hand deliver them to him on her next visit after our swap.
Check out this link for more info on little Noah. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
I was so happy - I was finished with my swap - a nice manly birthday card. Then I happened to look at the first page of this thread to find out what I signed up to bring for food and noticed I was supposed to do a floral card! Please don't make me start over! It's been one of those weeks.
Connie,
I haven't finished my card design for a manly card. I can switch and do a floral card instead. Does that sound OK Cindy? Just let me know!
Marcia
Connie, no problem at all. Marcia, you can change if you want to, but you don't have to do a floral card. It's not a big deal at all. Make whichever card you want.
You all will be receiving a PM from me with a reminder of what you'll need to bring to the swap and such. Some people signed up friends that aren't on SCS, so I also want to make sure that their friends are still coming. It's getting closer....
Someone PM'd me asking if they could make a card more geared for a boy instead of a man. That is fine. It's still a male card whether it's a little guy or a big guy.
Cindy,
If it doesn't matter to you, I'll go ahead and switch to a floral card - I would like to do a card with Happy Harmony from SAB! Love that set!
