It sure is! We had an evacuation drill at school and the kids were loving getting out in the sun. It is supposed to be nice all weekend here, so get out there and peep some leaves!
It's BEAUTIFUL here!!!! I love it when there's a slight chill in the air and the sun is out! Me and Lilly went for a walk just a little while ago and the leaves are so stunning here! We're going back to VT this weekend and hopefully I'll get a chance to take some nice pictures of the two of us once I get my tripod tomorrow!
Just wanted to pop in say hi and hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend! I finally made some cards this week which is a huge accomplishment for me since I've become so addicted to digital scrapbooking! I'm going shopping at the outlets in Manchester, VT tomorrow and I can't wait so hopefully the weather will be nice!:mrgreen:
I had to take DS for his 4 year appt. today. He was SO not expecting a shot! His feelings were very hurt. LOL!
Looks like it is going to be another pretty day. Hopefully, I can get the kids to the park after school and let them burn off lots of energy!

Your poor son! I can't stand needles and have to look away everytime they give Lilly a shot. We drove through Brattleboro yesterday on our way home.....it was twice as long but luckily Lilly didn't make a peep so it was worth it! I tried to get hubby to drive past the library but he was getting annoyed with the traffic! It's a beautiful day here too but unlucky me has tons of laundry to do.....hope that you enjoy the park though!!!!
I am so sorry but I need to cancel my spot in the get together as I am going in for gastric bypass surgery that week. I was hoping to get the surgery done earlier in November but it is now schedule for Dec 6, 2006. I was so looking forward to meeting everyone well I hope you all have a great time I will be thinking of you all while I am lying in bed.

I'm from the Utica area and my parents and DH's parents live there. I grew up in Westmoreland, then moved to New Hartford. We are coming back to go to the American Girl Fashion Show at Turning Stone with my daughter and her 2 grandmas. I can't wait!
Just thought that I would say a quick hello before I run off to do some errands. I'm going home this weekend to make Christmas cards with my sister and I can't wait! It's been so long since I've made a card and everytime I tell myself that I'm going too I end up digiscrappin instead! After I get back I'm going to start working on what I'm going to make for the swap. Hopefully this weekend will get me back into stamping the way I used to be!

I was with SIL - Kathyc this weekend and we were talking about the get together. I have a question for everyone. Are we making full cards or just the fronts??? We just went to a SU get together this weekend and eveyone made just the fronts. So needless to say with moving in the next two weeks I'm alittle confused. Please help..
I won't be able to attend this event. I didn't realize how far Brattleboro is from my home. Have a great time,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had such a nice time with my sister making our Christmas cards and finally using all of my stamping stuff! I was only able to make two different designs which I'm only partially happy with, but I hope to get another one done this week. All of my creativity seems to take a lot more effort lately which stinks. Anyways, I hope that everyone has a great week!
Hello friends! Now that Diana and I have gotten the SU event behind us, I can focus on our shoebox swap! I'm glad to hear that we're doing 'full' cards vs just card fronts! I want to be able to use whatever we make! At the event we went to, we made a lunch tin which I hope to post tonite; they had a raffle and Diana and I both won great prizes! They broke up the afternoon a little with breaks to demonstrate a couple of techniques; one was the faux shaving cream and another was a tunnel card; that was fun; I mention this in case we need any ideas for our event in order to fill the day! BTW, neither of us are demos; So, with my new stuff from the big order I got last week and the prizes I won Sunday, I should be able to buckle down and design a card for our get together! How's everyone else coming along????

I haven't started a single thing even though I said that I was going to start a long time ago, but I have a good excuse........loads and loads of laundry! I haven't even placed my order like I said I was going too.......can everyone say SLACKER!!! I guess I better get moving though because December 9th isn't too far off! Just a friendly reminder that the fee for this event is due today. I want to be sure we have our final numbers so everyone knows how many swaps we need to prepare.
So is 11 our final count? I'm going to make extra just in case. Looks like we'll all be able to get to know each other better with the small group. Only 37 days left to go.....I better get my hind end into gear!!! Are we going to make name tags for ourselves?

I'm starting to panic now. I thought I would have my swaps done by now but no I don't. I know I will not have time this weekend (hoping to start moving into new house). But I have to make the time Thanksgiving weekend.
