Does anyone drink coffee/hot cocoa? I can bring that, too! And, I was thinking M&Ms or some other 'melt in your mouth not on your stamping project' candy would be fun to snack on, too! I'll have to pick some up!
Yes, coffee please! If I'm the only coffee drink, I can bring my own. Anything else? Need anyone there early to help set up. I'm only about 20-30 minutes away.
I don't drink coffee very often, so, Lori, if you want to bring it, that would be great.
The library doesn't open until 10, so I don't think we can get in any earlier than that...but I'm just going to put some tablecloths down and some candy bowls and whatnot, so there shouldn't be too much to do before.
With the LONG drive, Diana and I will probably pick up coffee on the way then stick to water or soda later on; UNLESS more coffee drinkers chime in and one of us could bring our pot or we could bring one of those Box-o-Joe from Dunkies! Do we have paper goods yet?

YIPPEEEEE!!! The UPS man came (thanks Sarah!) He hasn't visited me in a very long time:( !!! I'm going to start coming up with some ideas during the week and start working on putting everything together after the holiday.
I'm busy today making some fudge and then tomorrow I'm making my first cheesecake (wish me luck.....I hope it doesn't become a complete bomb!)
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you're traveling or going out for Black Friday, be safe!!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hardly ate anything but still got really, really sleepy! I'm starting my project today and hopefully it will turn out okay.....if not at least I have a little bit of time to re-work it!
I played and finally decided on my swap. I actually cut everything, put it in shoebox, and even made a list of everything I need to put in at the last moment. I usually am not as organized this far from the due date!
If anyone (or anyone you know) has a need for some SU customer order forms and some inspirations sheets let me know and I'll bring them along with me.....otherwise I'll just throw them out! Hope everyone's week is going well so far!
Can't wait!!! I'm all set, ready to go. My daughter is still trying to come up with something. She's very nervous about meeting all of you!
Anything else, besides coffee that we need? Sarah, you can call me at home if you think of something. I don't mind and you've done an awful lot already!
Can't wait to see you all and YIKES! I better get working;) Sarah, please let me know if I can bring anything or help out in any way since I am coming from so close!
I am new and just saw this post this morning. I love that there is a meeting like this for New England. I can't make this on on sat Dec 9th, but I hope you gals do another one. I would love to be a part of it. I have never done a shoebox card before. It sounds like lots of fun. I hope all you ladies have a wonderful time and I hope I can meet you all at some other time.
Wanted to ask you all--Since there are so few of us attending, do we think the event will last until 4PM, or will we be able to end earlier? Not that I don't want to be with you gals longer, but I was invited last minute to a party where a bunch of old friends are going to be and that is 2 hours away from Brattleboro, so, just trying to figure out if I can go!
I think we are good! If I had thought about it, we could have met at McD's for breakfast!
MMMMMM.......even though I know it's really bad for you I love the sausage bisquits! Now I think that I just might have to stop there on the way!
Deseree- I've never been to a shoebox swap before so I can't really help but I wouldn't think that it would take the whole time since there aren't that many of us
I'm so excited about meeting everyone!
That's what I thought, but wanted to get more opinions. When we had a group this size atr my upline's house it was usually around 2 hours, but that was more stmaping and less chatting and eating than we are going to be doing, lol. I can't wait! Still have to cut some things, though, better get off here and get busy!
Sarah- does the library have a parking lot or do we park on the streets....I've been through Brattleboro a number of times and don't think I remember seeing the Library (thank goodness for Mapquest!!!)
I want to thank everybody for a wonderful day. The shoebox swaps were great and everyone was so kind and friendly. Thank you Sarah for planning this.
Kay
Hey Sarah!!!! Thanks again! Had so much fun and learned a lot! Told Dh I needed to make a trip to Mike's and place a big SU order...he just said okay, glad you had fun! So when are we doing this again?
So nice to meet everyone! But where are the pictures????
I want to thank everybody for a wonderful day. The shoebox swaps were great and everyone was so kind and friendly. Thank you Sarah for planning this.

I agree!!! Me and Betsy had a wonderful time as well! We'll have to do it again!
I hope no one else got a ticket! That's what I get for not checking the meter......it was only $8 which I thought was good since I'm used to them being $20!
Awww, Carrie, sorry you got a ticket! I thought the meters were free on Weekends? Go to my gallery to check out your cute picute, that should cheer you up! They're all there (until I figure out a link to just the photos)! We had such a fun time; I hope we can do it again soon!

Thank you to Kathyc for bringing the Cuttlebug for us to see and for the beautiful card made with it. I am definately making a trip to Michael's in the morning after the flyer comes in the paper, I am hoping for a 50% coupon!
We didn't go to Yankee Candle afterall! We didn't have directions with us and I didn't want to get lost! I'm so glad you took a group photo Lori, it's great! I regret that I didn't do that too! I was happy to bring the Cuttlebug so those who hadn't seen it could take a look and those who have other machines would see what the accessoiries look like and how they are compatible!
