I am sorry for not keeping you posted, I have been soooo busy- I want the kids to go back to school!! Anyway- here we go!
I promised to send out flyers to the gals who attended last year( and I will Be getting those out on Monday) so that they have an opportunity to come back and see the friends they made last year!
But for those of you who would like to come this year! I have all kinds of things in store for you! Here are the details
When: October 15th starts at 11 am until whenever Where: Rothschild City Hall in Rothschild (suburb to Wausau) Cost: $20
Here are the other fun details:
Lunch and snacks will be provided (subsandwhiches, etc...)
Prizes for everyone
The limit is fifty participants (wink)
when I get a true number I will let you know of how many cards to bring. Deadline for registration is Sept. 15th ( 1 month before event)
What are we doing???
We are doing a shoebox swap (design a card, bring enough supplies to make that card for all participants!
Anything but a card swap- participate if you wish- optional- but I need to know if you are participating before the event so I can give accurate numbers to everyone.
Lottery item - make an item that you love! if you make one you take someone elses lovely item home.( need to know if you are participating)
Individual swap- premake your cards and trade away!

So far there are 19 of us and some of those are Lana, Princess MI, Darthy, Kookie, Kar, HB and the list goes on!
I have to get off my butt and send in my form :???:
our group of stampin sisters will be there, we are planning to drive up Fri. afternoon and leave town Sun. morning after we stamp everthing in sight ;-)

Kar, I am gonna get some sort of waiver form - I swear - you're scaring me! And it will be YOU signing the waiver ~ promising not to put my head in compromising positions! LOL!!

My registration will be in the mail this week - I'm just waiting for my 'guest' to decide what she's participating in.
Just to clarify - is the shoebox swap the only required element? Your post makes it sound like the lottery is optional, while the reg. form says 'please bring an item for the lottery'.

shoebox is only required swap and there will be more info on that as we get closer to date! everything else is optional!!1 I so hope you can make it!!!

Wooo Hooooo - I'm pumped
I just got off the phone - I have booked my room for TWO nights. I decided that I am coming up on Friday afternoon - that way I will be rested and refreshed for Saturday. Don't want to be tired from driving on Saturday morning - leaving home by 6:00 am would not be fun at all. Then I am going to spend the night Saturday night because I will be exhausted from laughing and stamping.
I am sooooo looking forward to this - I do have a couple of questions though, ... could someone please explain what a shoebox swap is and how it is done.
Also, what type of item is needed for the lottery? Is this a stamped item, a gift type item or a "boobie" type?

Cost isn't a factor as I was offered to hitch a ride with the famous "airplane cookie" Stephanie Staniak and I could stay at my aunts house (she lives in Rothschild!)
However, I have a workshop booked for Sunday the 16th and I'd have to reschedule or something.
Oh, Michelle - I sure hope you can make it! What a treat to see your creations in person! Pamage (Paula) and I are coming in Friday night and are hoping to bring a guest. We gotta keep that Minnesota contingent strong ya know (I think we are really just Wisconsin wannabe's LOL).
dang gotta get my registration in... but then again if I send it one day it is there the next!! ;) It will get there but on the next payday next month!!
I just found this thread and am hoping the registration is still open?? Would love to attend with a friend. Let me know. How far is Wausua from Mil anyway??

actually it wasn't a "junk" pile. It is a need to go through pile... sometimes kids put junk on there though!! It was right by the computer!! HEY I brought lots of chocolate and Cheese Curds last year ;)
ya ya ya Schrades... I will send it to you by the END OF NEXT WEEK!! Gotta wait for payday.... seems like there are always bills that HAVE TO BE PAID before we can use $$ for anything fun.. what the heck is up with that?? lol
