It's time to start up our Shoebox swap! I hope many of you can make it. For those who left the island we will miss you.
The swap will be held Friday October 12th at 6pm. It will be a holiday theme swap. Anything from Halloween to Xmas will work. The potluck will be all about comfort food. I'll make the roast and the macaroni and cheese.
It will be held at 1727A on KAB. From Kadena Gate 1 go down Douglas and turn right on Kuter. Turn left on Vincent. Then turn right on Christos. We will be the first quadplex on the right.
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Please pass this along to anyone you think would enjoy our shoebox swap

Victoria, you know I will be there! Let me know if you need any help with anything! I will bring a favorite soup (maybe, I have to see if the commissary has all the stuff!).
Thank you Jeanne Marie for directing me here. I'm not sure if I can make it or not. Sounds like fun though.
I actually cut and mounted all those stamps I bought from you last night, Jeanne Marie! MONTHS AND MONTHS ago! And I stamped this morning. I'm close to finishing 4 cards. Let me tell you, it's going to take a lot to get my stamping mojo back!
I'll let you know if I get to go or not. Hi to all of you gals I haven't met yet!

Hey Jeanne-Marie,
We might need your small square table just to extend my craft table. I can even pick it up earlier that day so you don't have to worry about it.
Thanks a million.
I have the big craft table, 2 card tables and 4 folding chairs. Let me know what you need and we can get it to you or you can pick it up - either way.

I will be there! Yay, I can't wait!
I am not sure what to bring, the only thing "comfort food" I can think of is Mashed Potatoes, and Ice Cream. Hmmm...Maybe those pregnancy cravings have actually started!
Ok, anywho, I will think of something, and I will be there with bells on!

YaY ~ to get one more swap in before we leave would be so cool ~ may I suggest the 16th? If it is the 16th I most likely need a ride as we will be in TLF, and we leave in the morning. I wonder if Dean will be too upset ?? Thank you Heather for offering to host the next swap! Michell I did get the look from hubby ;)

Reason: change of plans
Cup hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed
1 tub (8oz) Cool Whip – thawed & divided
1 pkg (4 oz) serving size Jell-O- Chocolate instant Pudding
8 OREO’s - about 1 cup chopped (w/ more for top decoration)
12 – Ice cream sandwiches – Vanilla or Neapolitan.
Sprinkles – optional
Pour fudge topping into bowl and 1 cup of cool whip, stir until well blended, add pudding & stir 2 minutes. Gently stir in cookies & set aside.
Arrange 4 sandwiches side by side, on 24” piece of foil or sprayed cake pan. Top with the fudge topping mixture. Repeat layers. Frost the top & sides with remaining whipped topping. Double fold or cover and place in freezer at least 4 hours.
*If your Fudge topping is too thick to spread easily, stir in cup milk.
*Here in Okinawa or in warmer climates I like to unwrap all the sandwiches and place them back in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Also I like to have the OREOs either refrigerated or freezer.
