Adhesive
Scissors
heat gun (if you have one)
Essentially just a basic tool kit. Please don't buy a heat gun if you don't have one! I have everything else we will need. We will be doing two holiday themed make and take projects, no cards!! I can't tell what we're doing so you'll have some surprises! At most we will only need 5 heat guns, and I already know of three people on the list who have one, so please do not buy one! Do bring your own things to work on. I plan on allocating the time after lunch to "free time" for scrapping and stamping and chatting.
10-10:30 arrivals, introductions, and fabulous name tag contest
10:30-11:30 Make and take projects
11:30-12:00 Yankee Trader Gift Swap and pictures
12:00-1:00 Lunch on site
1:00- 4:00 Scrapping, stamping, and chatting
Put me down for a fruit tray. I wasn't sure about if you wanted just grab and go snacks or not. [ex. pretels, chips, corn chips. ?] I also have a heat tool I'll bring.
I have a heat gun too! I sooooooooo don't know what I am going to make for a snack.
Brandi - do you need anything like paper goods (plates, cups, etc.)? Or a case of cold bottled water? Not that I can't make something - I just always like to ask about those things first if they are needed.
Brandi - I was SO going to come, however, my sister planned my new niece's baby shower for that Saturday - with the holidays and the advent of my "great niece on the way" - there was no way to even suggest changing (I thought about asking though!).....and I have been DYING to meet my PA SCS sisters.....I will SO be at the next gathering! You all are soooooo close to me in Bethlehem Twp.... :( <sigh>
so - all you gals have a blast and post lots of pics!!! I wanna hear all about the fun you are gonna have!

Ha Ha I would love too!! One year when driving back or too from visiting DH's family in Michigan, we were on the long turnpike and I was supposed to tell him the turnoff. Welllll...let's just say I didn't read the map very well and next thing I know there is sign for PA...oopps:oops: However, I just remember how absolutely beautiful it was.
Okie dokie, I got my name tag all done, was very excited that I got *something* done for our meet-up.....but now I just re-read the instructions and I see I was supposed to make the tag a 4x6....it isn't 4x6 :oops: .....oh well, LOL!
Now I'm off to make a card (or two) for the troops.

Hi Brandi - I have a heat gun. will be happy to bring it. Also is it too late to ask for some table space for the selling table.? I just reread the paper and saw I was suppose to ask when I registered. Don't think i did that...if it is too late that is fine. Please tell me what I can bring food wise. I don't mind...anything..just give me something.
Life has been so hectic around here with the holiday and other stuff (became a new grandma) that I have just this week to make my name tag and my gift for the swap.
I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone who lives in the nearby areas. There are about 6 girls up here in the Lancaster area that unfortuntely couldn't make it to this get together and we get together a couple of times during the year and hit all the great stamp stores. Can't wait...so excited. Everyone have a great week.
Alright ladies! Everything is packed and ready to go! I'm so incredibly excited! This has been a crazy busy month! It will be nice just to sit and stamp and relax! If anyone has any last minute concerns, let me know!

Nancy- You can have a table! I'm going to just set up some extra tables for the swap/sell spot. Congrats on becoming a grandma!
Caroline I was starting to get worried about you, but I see you posted and I missed it! Are you getting excited!?? Anyone else who is bringing stuff for buy/sell/trade that's fine, we'll set up extra tables so there will be plenty of room just don't forget to bring your cash/checks :-D to do some shopping! I am getting so excited! I hope I don't forget anything!
I haven't made my nametag either :( I am off for the night to get the last minute things done! If someone has an emergency or something where they desperately need to get ahold of me, try pming me. I will try to check my email at 7:30 tomorrow morning, but not after that. See you all tomorrow!

Hi Girls - what a great day. It was so fun to meet everyone. Find out how close we are all. Can't believe I was home in a 1/2 hour. Yes, Thank You Brandi for everything. Had fun.
Here are a few of the pictures. Sorry they are so blurry. Looking forward to seeing all of you again. Maybe a shoebox swap sometime in the winter.
OH - Here is the Pumpkin Cake Recipe:
1 Angel food cake mix
Add: 1 cup of water 1/2 tsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix well and then add
1 15 oz. can of pumpkin. Mix together with mixer and put in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
Cook for 25-30 mins at 350 degrees.
Serve with Fat Free Cool Whip or put on the cream cheese icing.

Thanks for hosting such a FUN and exciting stamp get together. It was so much nice meeting everyone, and we (Me, Leo, Jaimee & Barb) had a wonderful time! The projects were awesome!
Brandi, thanks so much for all you did! It sure was amazing that you got so much together in such a short time. I really enjoyed the projects and meeting everyone. Now I have a face to put with names.
PS I finally made a decision for my cards. I knew I'd get a kick in the pants to get started. Thanks again.

Brandi - great job in organizing everything! Loved all the projects - I am actually going to make some of the ornaments as a gift.
Can't wait until the next one - maybe we should do this like 4X a year???

Oh! I went to the Craft & Flower Warehouse (it was pretty crazy there!) & got the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers! It was cheaper to buy it by the piece vs. the pack - so that's what I did.
Location: On my sunporch- stamping and creating. Enjoying the view :)

Well, I was definately inspired by the weekend. Last night I worked on some glass ball ornaments for a couple of friends & boss gifts. I also covered some Hershey nuggets to get ready for some co-worker gifts....so thanks again for a fun time
