Just to let you know Rita and I finished our Shoe box swap on Saturday evening. I even decorated my shoe box cute like. Funny things is My DH bought me a brand new pair of NIKE shoes in Park City about 2 weeks ago To help me get motivated to workout with that new pair of sneaks.. All I can say is I did take them out of the shoe box and decorated the box cute just for this get together. At least I'm making some use out of his purchase "wink". I don't think this was part of his plan. Anyways there is a big factory outlet shopping center nearby where we are meeting. Fun Fun

Ladies.. I am in need of certainly celery grosgrain.. It is on my order which will go in tonight but SU seems a little slow getting things out so I am worried it won't get here on time. Anyone have any I can borrow or buy off them???
I finished my cards last night. I totally scrapped my original idea even though half of them were finished. I came up with a card I liked even better and started over. It is a very pretty card. I think you'll like it.

I'm so bummed! I will have to be late for our get together (darn school!). I will send my swaps with Vicky and hopefully be there by 11:00. I'm so excited to meet everyone!

Can't wait to get together tomorrow! One possible hitch in my plans--my sweet little 6 year old (his b-day is actually today!!) has been sick the past few days. He's feeling much better but still has a yucky cough that I think his teacher might wonder why on earth he's at school (ya know the barky cough?).
So what to do? Send him to school all doped up on cough medicine or bring him with me? If I do decide to bring him, I'm assuming that there will be a tv there in the clubhouse?

Rita, Carlene and I all had a great time. This was our first "Shoe Box Swap." We talked about it all the home about an hours drive. We for sure will do it again and I have another friend that wants to join us next time. Thanks Tina and Evie for doing such a great job. It's always fun to make new friends.

Oh yes...may I suggest that when we upload our cards or pics from yesterday to our galleries, that we use a keyword so we can find them easily? How about PCS022008 (Park City Swap + date)? Make sure to upload your shoebox projects AND your swap cards. Thanks!
I haven't had the chance to see your cards, but I will tomorrow! Thank you in advance to those who gave me a card. I was so bummed I couldn't be there. I will post a picture of my projects after the weekend and if you want me to send you one, just PM me.

It was actually a shoe party (yeah, that was the first I've been to but they have parties for just about anything now) which after I've had so many people ask about the shoes I got, I'm going to organize one. I'll keep you updated on when it will be. Their shoes are super cute, durable, comfortable and super affordable! $15-$20 for women's, men's and children's shoes. They bring a trailor with all the shoes so people can try on and take home their shoes right there. It's so awesome!
