My sister (LWE) and I got our assignments. Thanks for putting all of that together. What can I do to help you? Are we having a planning session?
If anyone is interested in planning/helping, please let me know. I can meet Tues, Wed, Fri nights this week or on Saturday. We might want to plan before Saturday and then have a making session on Saturday. Just let me know. Thanks!
I've got you down, Teresa. I love that dip! Do you want to do a door prize, name tag contest or secret sister?
Hi, sorry I missed this message. I know it is past deadline for these sign ups now, but I am happy to bring a door prize or anything else needed.
Honey, I saw your message about a planning meeting. I have never been involved in the planning, but and more than happy to help. Let me know when you are meeting or what I need to do. The only night I can't meet would be tonight.

Right now my calendar is open for all of your dates..

Just the secret sister signup is closed. For the door prize, if you bring one, you get one.
Thanks for offering to help. I'll try to set up a meeting.

I just moved to Myrtle Beach from New England. I have been to several shoebox swaps Swaps and get-togethers there and I think I would be interested in hanging out with all of you at this one. How far in Columbia from Myrtle Beach? Is it to late to sign-up?

It is not too late to sign up to come. The only thing you have missed out on is the Secret Sister Swap. Myrtle Beach is three hours from Columbia and we'd love to have you. If that's too far, there is a fall event in Charleston.
We would love to have you attend from Myrtle Beach. There are several hotels on I-20 not far from the church if you would like to come in on Friday. Maybe if enough people are interested we can all meet for dinner on Friday. We have done this a couple of times in Charleston. It really helps you to get to know each other and a great ice breaker.

Good Morning Ladies....
Thanks for the info... Let me think about it. We just got back from emptying our house in New England and getting it ready to put on the market. I am not sure that I am ready for another long round trip drive, even if it is to stamp.....hehehehehehe ;)

Just a courtesy FYI.... I would love to be able to come and stamp with all of you, but as I feared, I have some last minute Girls Camp stuff on my plate for that day. So I will be sad to miss all the fun and it would have been great to meet all of you. I would like to be included in the next time though. I can put it on the calender and plan around it. Have Fun....!!!

Keep an eye out for the Carolina Girls. We alternate between Columbia and Charleston in the spring and fall.
Here are the directions to the swap at Living Springs Lutheran Church (4224 Hardscrabble Rd.):
Coming from Charleston or the Irmo side of town: I-20 East or I-26 to I-77 North. Take Exit 22 (Killian Rd.). Turn right off ramp (you will really be on Clemson Rd.). About 2.6 miles, you will be at the intersection of Hardscrabble and Clemson Rd (there's a McDonalds on one corner, a gas station on 2 corners and our church sign on a corner). Turn right onto Hardscrabble Rd. The church is the first left.
From Camden or Florence: I-20 to Exit 80 (Clemson Rd.). Turn right onto Clemson Rd. and go about 6 miles. You will be at the corner of Hardscrabble and Clemson Rds. Turn left. The church is on the right.
Good Morning Ladies,
Sign me up for all, name tag, secret sister, paper products, door prize.
Patti, is correct I do have the scrapbook. I will bring it with updated pages from our last swap in Charleston. Since I have had the scrapbook for a year now just wondering if anyone eles is interested in scrapping this event?
Thanks to those of you who did the heavy lifting to put this event together. Honey, Amy, anyone else? If I forget to mention this tomorrow, I would be more than happy to share in the cost of whatever you purchased for the group. Just let me know.
What a terrific day we had today! Thank you everybody for all the hard work on coming up with such awesome projects. Thanks again to all the organizers. It was so much fun!!
Thanks, everyone, for coming today. Here's the post-swap report. We had 14 people there. The theme was pink/brown and rubberstamps. We gave goody bags to everyone filled with a crafters anonymous card, a stamper ATC, a bottle of stamper's pills, a poem, a chocolate rubberstamp and a tiny book of stamp sayings (from the old Stella Stamper set). We did door prizes and secret sister. jburkhardt won the name tag contest. We made the swaps and had lunch. Stacie from Scrappin' Creations (a new store in town), sent free stamps and gave anyone to came to the store today a discount.
I had a great time today! I'll post pictures later and let everyone know when they're up.
WOW..Honey you are AWESOME. Thank you for all you did. It was a BLAST. Would everyone please post their recipes on here so all of us can enjoy the wonderful treats we had for lunch.
