Ok girls....here it goes. A few of us have been chatting about planning a trip to Las Vegas in 2006. It is NOT a stampin vacation. It's just a chance for us to get together and have fun. Signifigant others are WELCOME. What I need from you are possible dates that would work for you. I will be the "official" planner since I have a Vegas "connection" to group rates. Please either post here or send me a PM with dates that you would like me to check into and your hotel of choice. I would like it to be a hotel on the strip. I will keep track of any and all emails/suggestions. The dates that get the most votes will be the date I will be working around. Again, signifigant others are invited and I guess it's up to you if you bring your children.
I am pretty open and would consider any time that is not too hot. I am going to go in about two weeks and know from the last time I will burn up. Let me know I love Vegas and I will even work maybe to earn some extra money for this.
I'm not going to say a date right now because with 3 kids in hockey I honestly don't know. I'll see when the date is and if I can swing it then who knows! It would be soooo much fun! Thanks for taking this on Shanon.

We are planning a vaca to Vegas in May/June sometime to celebrate my 30th next year. If it coordinated that would be cool!
My 30th will be in October, think I can stretch out that excuse and use it for the trip? I would love to go and i know DH would love to go back, we went in April for our 10th Anniversary. April is a pretty good time, not so blasted hot yet!
I'd love to go too. Just don't know if I'll have enough vacation time next year (unless I lose my job due to SCS surfin...then I'll have lots of time!) Keep me posted though - I'd love to see everyone in VEGAS!!!

This sounds soooo cool. And, Shanon, in case you didn't know...there is a stamp convention held there in April and another held in October. I'm game for just about any time. Too hot? No way...that's why there are casinos!!! Anyway...I'll keep checking as to when...think this would be soooo much fun. Thanks for doing this.

I can't believe I missed this thread earlier! I asked my husband what he thought about it and he said sure. The only times I know for sure we couldn't make it would be the last weekend in June & the first weekend in October.

Ok, I sent you a pm. I am all for staying on the strip. June is fine with me (not June 3rd....MamaK's anniv and Adam's b-day). I like going after we get that tax return. Dh said that's fine ( although he'd rather just us go, he's willing) No real preference as to which hotel, just would like one on the strip and not too skanky...I like pampering!

Anyway, I was asking Darren more q's & the last week of Aug. & last week of Sept. will be out. He has meetings every year during those times.
I've never been either. You aren't the only Vegas Virgin!
Virgin.....I think I can remember.....I'm not really sure.....but maybe.....once a long time ago.....maybe somewhere way back in the 60's.....yes,I do remember now!

Granny...I KNOW that you are going to the wild one in VEGAS. Please let all Hubby's know that this is NOT a stampin get together....It's a friends get together and everyone is welcome to do their own thing. Maybe that will help convince them....

How long would the trip be, a long weekend? If so, I'd love to try to go. I guess I'll be able to leave DS overnight by then. Why am I a freak about leaving him overnight?
I think I can swing my mom to sit for DS for a long weekend (BTW, why would you take kids to Vegas? They are not family oriented are they?).

I'm a Vegas Virgin too and have wanted to "do it" for a long time.
We do not have any date constraints at this point...
I just loooove Las Vegas!!!! I got married there last July at Chapel of the Fountain!!!! I think a Girls' Trip would be great. Men are okay to go too,I guess(smile,smile). I have friends that stay at Excalibur EVERY time they go, and they go alot. Like 4 or 5 times last year!Denise

I have been waiting all day for your reply. I knew you would talk sooner or later....My hubby mentioned Excalibur, but I kinda don't like the location....The end of the strip and all. But hey, who am I? He mentioned the Sahara and Treasure Island.....But I will talk to my friend Chrissy (wholesaler) tomorrow and see what they have to offer.
