SPLITCOAST STL STAMPEDE LINK TO THE SPRING GATHERING
Here's a link to the new thread for the SPRING GATHERING: Splitcoast ST/IL STAMPEDE
[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][color=red]Regretfully Cancelling The 2nd Splitcoast STL STAMPEDE 11.18.2006 Ladies, we have decided to reschedule this event for sometime in the Spring. It seems as if there are too many things going on around the same time and we don't want to conflict. We will reschedule this event for the Spring and make sure that everyone is informed of the date. If you have sent money to Tracy, she will get it back to you as soon as she can. She is very busy right now, but be patient, she will get back with you. Thank you all for your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM myself, Autumn or Randi. (borrowed from Randi's post, thanks chickie!)

Wow a second stampede. The first one was so much fun.
I won't be able to attend. After suffering with (MDD) Major Depressive Disorder & (SAD) for several years from the end of October until mid January. Even with medication, the depression is still there only not as intense. Christmas cause anxiety and I have panic attacks if I am in a large group. Sorry.
The cookie swap sounds wonderful.
And I would love to see you all again.

That's terrible Carolyn. I think I midly suffer from SAD during the winter months, but nothing to the extent that you described. It just won't be the same without you! :(
oh Carolyn! We will miss you and your awesome talent! It was such a pleasure to chat with you. I was so bummed when I saw you had left on Saturday before I could get a hug! I understand depression all too well, and I feel for you. Good for you for taking care of yourself.
Sign me up, Tracy-sista! : )

So glad we are doing this again ladies. Thrilled to be more involved this time. Last time I had too much going on including the Family reunion the weekend and week before. Ugh!

Ok, since we just did t-shirts, what other type of momento would y'all (that's for you Autumn) like to have? Tote bag, water bottle, any other "crafty" helper that we could have silkscreened?...anything Christmas theme related? hummm?????
Wow, I go outside for 1 hour to vacuum the pool and you all have a new thread and lots of posts. My goal is to try and keep up with you all. Although I know my house is calling my name. I am pretty sure I heard my vacuum calling me.

You can do it...My vaccuum and I already visited this morning. We so needed to do so.

FYI: Something of this nature can be made up rather inexpensively from Oriental Trading...They have tons of options.
I was so happy to finally meet you Carolyn...I understand but you will still be missed.
Don't worry I am sure there will be plenty more Stampede's in the future.

I want to go! I also have a frined who moved here a year ago, and I just found out 3 months ago she stamps. She hasn't done it in awhile. She had a surprise baby, and had a rough pregnancy, Sh had to have him early. But the baby is almost a year now and she is doing well. I told her to visit this site, and about the gathering she wants to attend. He name is Dyann Marlow. So add her to the list Even if she can't attend I will let you know. She wants to, but her husband is a chaplian.
I wanna go to. I may not be able to do dinner Friday, because I would be comming from St. Louis County, and I don't know that I would drive back and forth both days. But I'm looking forward to meeting all you girls.
I am so excited to read you are having another get together!!! I will plan to be there. We are moving to Scott AFB near O'Fallon, IL in October so I should be able to come!!!
Woohoo! That's fabulous, Marian. Mark your calendar now! :p

Well, Darlin' I think that a tote bag or water bottle would be a wonderful idea. Now ya'll stop talking southern to me, cuz I am gonna take some speech classes to fix this thing. LOL

On the theme, can it be Christmas/Winter? Not everyone celebrates the season the same way ;) Just a thought.
Good point. I think Christmas, winter something along those lines would be great.

You should have heard the CRIES of joy coming from my house...my neighbor was out watering his yard, and he knew exactly what I was happy about...<doin' the happy dance in the AC>

I don't blame you one bit girl. I probably would have danced all over the house. LOL

After FIVE DAYS of no power, I would be jumpin' for joy too, girlfriend!
ahh...just think....air-conditioning, tv, computer....(said in my best Homer Simpson voice as he drools for donuts)
I totally know the feeling. I am so glad for you.
My friend just came home from Mexico and called to whine to me that her fridge had died while she was away and she came home to a stinky house and no food. Do you think I had sympathy for her? Not! She didn't have to live through the no power nightmare. (p.s. what a time for the "time of month" to hit for me)

yea another one! I hope you all had fun at the other one
I'm sorry to have missed it.......to tell you how bad it's been around here I've truely lost track of time this time. I forgot that it was July...lol. We're in the process of building a new house, so between that and work and trying to keep up with the housework in the old house AND taking care of the kids it's been hectic around here.
So I probably won't make it to this one :( i'm trying to help build the house and keep extra money for Christmas.
If you need any help pm me! I have some stuff I could probably send
Misty
lol..........that shows how long it's been since i've posted. Gotta go change my signature

I haven't had a chance to read the thread yet, but I can hardly wait! I have just moved to Fairview Heights (from Germany, and there were NO gatherings there!) I'll try to read the whole thread, we don't have internet yet so I'm "borrowing" some wireless and it is slower than molasess!
Melissa, when I am in Fairview, I go to the St. Louis Bread Company and steal internet.
Keep watching this thread because you don't want to miss the next Stampede.

Randi, we have gone to the one at exit 16 and used their internet. It's just so inconvenient. (I have a 3 y/o DS that pings! LOL!) We are supposed to get DSL tomorrow. It just arrived in our neighborhood last week. I can hardly wait! The modem arrived today so that's a good sign! ;)
Hubby started inprocessing at Scott AFB yesterday so after our DSL is working and he's at work I'll be able to check in regularly. I have been absent so long I'll bet none of my old buddies even remembers me! :( Just means I'll have to start popping up again! :p
Well, I must get at least the vacuuming done before DH gets home! I look forward to meeting everyone!
