I wanted to see if anyone was still watching this thread. Any news on the next one? My husband left on the first for Afghanistan for 6 months, and I just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant! Keep my posted for the re-round 2!
Thank you so much! I hope it is a girl this time. Two boys is hard enough. Yes I do live at the same address. He will be back in June, Thank God. I am not due until September 3rd. So he will be back for the "FUN" months.

Yup...the "big and blossoming" months. And I hope for your sake it's a little girl. I had one of each and while I love my son TONS...girls are different and so special.
How about " Stampedin' in Springtime!" ? Kinda catchy huh?
Lynn, Aut... I love your little avatars!! Soooo cute!
Tracy... I'm up for games again!
I can't wait! I can't wait! I am SO excited!!
I'm "spunky about spring" too, just as long as it's at least a few weeks past March 31st...my DD is getting married, so you can imagine the mile-long list of things I have to do.
I really enjoyed the games too...although it really showed me how little I know about which stamps go into which stamp set...lol

Now I know everyone is totally excited but we should let Randi find out if April is good at her church...then I (we) can start a new thread next week.
SO LADIES START THINKING ABOUT ACTIVITIES and a cool NEW THEME so we can really get to work over the next couple of weeks. I am SO READY how about you?
Sounds good to me.

His surgery went well, the spider bite is still nasty but hopefully healing. He goes back to the plastic surgeon on Wednesday. In the mist of it all I have re-injured my back and am trussed up in a back brace until further notice. Taking lots of pain killers and truly living in La La land. But this too shall pass and all will be well.

Sherry, we would love to have you there. We will be starting a new thread with dates in the next week or two. We are getting some final things worked out and will post it all then. Hope you can make it. At this time all I know is we are looking at April. Will know more soon. :-D

Oh hey! The Creating Keepsakes scrapbook convention is in Collinsville on April 13-15. I don't know if that would be a good weekend for the Stampede or not. On one hand everyone could go check it out after the stampede. On the other hand its an event in town and may be hard to find hotels. Just thought I'd pass on the info.

Good point Carla...I forgot all about them being in town. I usually attend the vendor booths, but don't take any of the classes.

I could be wrong but I think we aren't looking to do it that weekend because of that reason. LOL We don't want everyone to get here and not have a room to rent.

OOH I love CKC! Hmmm may have to think on that just a bit...I will be attending in Nashville with my gf's but attending a second time surely would not hurt anything more than my bank account! lol

I enjoyed the classes last year but you really have to be careful which ones you take. Some are more worth the money than others, for instance the mini albums classes ROCK. Some of the classes to just make a couple of SB Pages not so much worth the money. SEI was one I was not so impressed with.

Nope we weren't. LOL :p No one would be able to get a room because of the CK event. Also, most of the hotels that were right off the highway have been torn down to make room for the new SUPER WAL-MART:rolleyes: So we are a little shorter on rooms this time. LOL

I think Mindi and Randi have us covered there. However, I would love to have another one if possible. LOL

Glad Mindi & Randi have "gone forth and multiplied"...I'm too old (not physicall, I suppose it's still possible - but mentally, I'm worn out)
I remember that movie. It was crazy...NO! I don't think we will be calling Wal Mart to see how many beds they have available. LOL

Bwhahahahahahha. Besides this world needs are Chrisitan raised children to go forth and be our future. BTW, that smiley you have is tooo funny. LOL Where did you get it?

No, I think however, I will go in and ask the New manager when they open if we could rent their bedding and camping department for a weekend sleep over just to see the look on his face. Bwhahahahhahaha that would be priceless. I mean really since they tore down some Hotels to build it they should be most accomodating. LOL

You gals are too funny! I can hardly wait to meet everyone!
Hey, DH will be away at a school that week-end, so if you did decide to do it then (I know you're not, just sayin') I would be open to having some guests! I have a spare bedroom and plenty of floor space! Of course you would have to put up with my active and nosey 3.5 DS! So the after-party could be at my house! Of course I'm just a few miles down the road in Fairview Heights.
My husband will still be gone then, I have a 4 bedroom house with a sofa sleeper and 2 air matresses. I actually have a flex room(den) as well. I only occupy 3 rooms at the moment. I am open for guest. If you don't mind a whiny pregnant woman and 2 hyper boys.

He-he, Mindy you have me beat! I only have one air matress, and it hasn't been used in several years so I don't even know if it still holds air! And I only have the one boy. I don't call him hyper, I figure as long as I can still duct tape him down to the floor he isn't hyper!
(P.S. no little boys were injured in the dream of duct taping hyper little ones down for a moment of peace and quiet!)

Okay, funny story about duct tape and little boys: My DS is 4 and is very articulate in his speach. Anyway, we used to always tease him and tell him we were going to duct tape him and lock him in the closet.
My girlfriend was over the other day and Dakota my little guy has eczema usually just a few small spots on his arms and knees anyway my GF says to him Hey little guy whats that spot on your arm. My 4 year old DS says "Oh thats just the burns from the duct tape mom uses on me when she tapes me up and locks me in the closet" OMW! I promptly said thats not true and please don't tell anyone that because it really doesn't happen. I was a bit freaked don't want him going to school or somewhere telling people that. LOL

Well, we will all come bail you out of jail when DHS comes to your door to have you arrested for child abuse!! LMAO
Actually, it's really not that funny, because things like that really do happen, so you may want to have a little talk with DS.

Trust me we had the talk immediately. Right in front of my GF actually. LOL
