You can also borrow some internet from your local library too. We would love to have you come to the next Stampede Melissa.

Thats funny cause she has 5 kids. The fifth was a surprise cause her hubby was fixed. She has 4 boys first 2 boys then a girl and the last 2 boys. Her blood pressure spiked and other various problems so they enduced her early. The baby was very small and weighed almost 4 lbs. at 2 months early. Wonder what it would have been like full term. I also had a friend who was pregnant with twins who had them 2 months early, and the both weighed 5 lbs. I think her due date was off. Twins are usually unerweight even full term.

Keep watching this thread because you don't want to miss the next Stampede.
Hey I just noticed you changed your location. Bwhahahahaha that there is just too funny. It's just wrong that we didn't know before. Well I am giving a bday party for my mom and her twin sister tonight so I need to get hoppin'. Boy the accents are gonna be flyin' around my place tonight. LOL

My DS was 3 weeks early and was 9.5 pounds, doc says he would have easily been 11. I originally wanted 6 kids, but I can't have anymore. Basically, I'm broken and my DH got fixed (because I was broken). LOL So thats why I said I wanted some of those Suprise Babies.

yes, the vacuum really is calling my name. DS wants me to snuggle. I wonder who'll win the tug-of-war????
Girl, I say snuggle that little one while you can because it will end all too soon. The vacuum will wait.

FYI: Something of this nature can be made up rather inexpensively from Oriental Trading...They have tons of options.
I still like the shirts. JMHO. Perhaps something festive in red or green for the holiday next time. Same logo. Different color lettering though and a cute "2" behind the St. Louis Stampede!

If we have the right spot for it ... I have 2 teenage daughters who are very mature ... and are willing to babysit. Perhaps we could set them up as a small day care during the event? I'm sure they could round up a few of thier friends to help if needed. Just an idea since I know some couldn't make it before do to child issues.

Don't you think we should change the logo a bit since we aren't really meeting in St. Louis...how about an Illinois theme? Any suggestions? We can still use the Stampede part, but I think Illinois would be more appropriate...or is it just me?

Well, Darlin' I think that a tote bag or water bottle would be a wonderful idea. Now ya'll stop talking southern to me, cuz I am gonna take some speech classes to fix this thing. LOL
I'm a gonna refuse to be a changing my little 'ole southern drawl...It is just a part of ME! lol

pssst visit Tracy in KY. My house is always full of little angels. I even have a few bigger ones I could loan out to ya and a precious Grandson you can borrow for about a minute...
I don't think any of you need to change ANYTHING...your accents just endear you more to us! We love you just the way you are...(sung in my Billy Joel accent)

I don't think I noticed that I need to add anyone else...but if I missed anyone just pm me.
WELCOME MELISSA! We would be happy to have you join us in Nov.
I know exactly where you are coming from in Germany. It has been a long time since I was there but I loved it so much! Coming home was bittersweet for me but happy to be in the good 'ole USA!

HEY Lynn...I am so glad you have THE POWER again! WHOO HOO
Ok, as far as a title goes...I am a bit partial to the Splitcoast Stampede part of it all but I am sure it can be adjusted for our local.
The original plan was STL thus giving us the name of course...but I hated to change it after we ended up in IL...For NOV I think it is most appropriate to make a change.
Randi~ You poor thing. No power and a bad friend was visiting...UGH!
I no longer have to endure such annoying monthly issues! YAAHOO for me! 5 years and lovin' it! Ok, so the hot issues get annoying but so much easier to deal with than the other girl stuff. KWIM?
I'm looking up Illinois facts right now looking for ideas...the state insect is the Monarch Butterfly....I thought that was cool....ok, back to lookin'.....

Mine is usually pretty subtle but then again I was with the entire southern side of my family for the entire week before the stampede so that pretty much explains the "thickness" of the accent. LOL

We are checking into something permanent. I have a little cousin that is 15 that is prego and she's not interested in keeping the little babe so we are going to try to adopt the baby. She's only 2 1/2 months along though so she could change her mind.

Actually it's still the metro St. Louis Area. We could just drop the St. Louis and go with Splitcoast Stampede or maybe SCS Stampin' Stampede or something like that. But the St. Louis part still works for me too.

I would love to join this time ~ I'm in Troy, IL. I was unable to attend the last one because I had my 4th back surgery in December still wasn't up to doing much. I'm still having a lot of problems, but hopefully everything will be better in November. I haven't been stamping very much lately due to the back problems, but would love to get back into it ~ it's amazing I'm still an active demo! We are leaving for Cozumel on Friday so I won't have net access for a week, but will check the thread when we return.
oooh, Cozumel....how fun is THAT! Have a great time and we'll see ya when you get back.

I agree with StampinCarla.
Please add me to the list for November. I already put it on my calendar.
I noticed the later start time, which is nice for those of us from the Missouri side and those from even further away.
The t-shirts were cute, but I didn't buy one, becuase they don't generally fit over my hips. So, my vote is for a tote bag or a mug/travel cup.
Souvineer preference noted. Thanks. I also agree with a later start time.
