Greetings to stampers in the beautiful (and finally sunny) UP and nearby. I hope that if you are using some looking around time on SC that you find this thread and think about our event. I am really looking forward to meeting all of those stampers in our neck of the woods..and I do mean woods. Have a great weekend
Hope everyone has had a wonderful Memorial Day! The weather has been cold and drizzly here-- perfect day to stamp! Unfortunately, I did not. Just got caught up with everyday tasks-- including cleaning my dining room which is my stamping room-- couldn't take anything out again to mess it up!
If you've mailed your registration in the past couple of days, it may take a bit of time to show up on the registration list. Joann is in the hospital, but will update the list as soon as she is home.
Joann, we're thinking of you-- get better quick!!!

Jackie's address is Chassell. They live on the lake but not year around.
They are just there in the summer time, and not all the time as they come back to Indiana about every 3 weeks.
Is that near you?

Yes, Joan, Chassell is near us -- maybe 20 miles or so -- we go through it all the time to get to Houghton where we shop!!! Small world!!!
Hi everyone....I'm back, just some pneumonia and a few pulmonary embolisms. The worst part is having to wear oxygen for a couple weeks.

Thanks so much-- that would be great! As you may have read, our registration closing has been delayed until June 15th. We would like to get as many stampers as possible, but are happy with a smaller group as well!
I have copied the registration to mail in! My husband and I will be taking our summer vacation in the UP! We live in Grand Rapids...have been to the UP a couple of times but, never to the Baraga area! I can't wait!
I might of missed it, but what so we have to bring? Stamping supplies I mean. Oh, and don't worry hubby will be off golfing and doing his own thing!

How exciting...I would love to join the fun , however..we spend a month (July 26-Aug26) IN ORMOND BY THE Sea in FL..right on the ocean front..absolutely beautiful and relaxing get away!!

I can't believe I let it slide. Been a busy month and I've been gone a lot.
I think I already said I wanted to do the swaps, but have never done them before so no clue what is involved. Is there any idea on the number of attendees yet? The way I procrastinate I better getted started SOON! ;-)

Yes, you can still register. We've been so busy as well-- Joann has been in the hospital and should be getting out Friday... she will add you to the list. You can go ahead and mail your registration to her. GLAD YOU CAN COME!!!
Hi everyone. I am finally out of the hospital and hopefully on the mend. I was told it would be a long, slow recovery so I won't be running marathons by the time we have our August event but I am hoping I can attend the whole thing. To anyone who recently sent in registrations, I promise to have the list updated by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. I really appreciated the cards and prayers and good vibes. More tomorrow.

Hey Ladies! We met today and have gotten a lot of work done for our big weekend! I will post the numbers tomorrow (someone responded they were coming--registration is going in the mail-- but we have not received it as yet. I'm waiting for a pm back from her on her status. We want to have accurate numbers for the swaps for you...I can tell you know that there will be 17 (plus one more possibly) for the main swap; and 18 (plus one more possibly) for the shoebox swap... I should hear back hopefully from the one person if they will be participating by tomorrow (hopefully!) Look for more details tomorrow on the first entry of this thread! We will have a schedule, lists of what to bring, what type challenges we will be doing Friday night, etc.
And HAVE A MARVELOUS FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!
