So sad that I won't be able to make this meeting. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and playing. I will be celebrating my 7th wedding anniversary that weekend and I get to spend some alone time with my hubby. Hope I will be able to make the next one.

Is this in Twin Falls? My mom is a stamper in Paul and I just saw this thread, I bet she would love to come, but I just wanted to make sure what city it was in...

Hi Milette--actually, we're in Boise, but it's not too far for her to come! We'd love to have her! My grandparents lived in Rupert, and one aunt still lives there.
I was bragging to JanTink the other day that you and I were in the same downline (Margo), but I don't think she believed me. :-)

I will let her know! My brother just moved up to Meridian and she might use it as an excuse to come up and spend some time with my nephews.

How funny! It's like knowing a celebrity ;) And JanTink questioning *YOU!* HA! Take that, Jan! ;)
Milette, we sure missed you at convention this year. I was so sad that you couldn't make it. You were missed, girl! I had a great time rooming with Cathy. It was fun to meet some of your downline. Take care, girl! I hope you can make it up here sometime for one of Margo's functions. {{{Hugs}}}
Amy, thanks for the reminders, but I don't think I'm going to make it to SWISS this time. You can take me off the list. Maybe next time! Maybe I can swing by and say hi like last time! Have fun, gals! Can't wait to see all of your fun creations!

SWISS 5 is planned for Saturday, October 13, at 9:30 at Archiver's. We are going to be in the open room, so please come on time to reserve your place at a table. The advantage to the open room is that we won't have to move at noon! Usually we go until around 1 pm.
Please bring:
*your sample and 12 packets of supplies (please include instructions, your SCS name, and any special tools or adhesives needed)
*a doorprize worth $5 (so everybody takes home a prize!)
*your own scissors and adhesive
*your own drink WITH A LID (Archiver's requirement)
We will provide brunch and paper goods, name tags, goodie bags, and great fun! Archiver's will start "running tabs" for anyone interested while we are there, so if you forget something, you can always get it there!
Wow we are going to have a great time on Saturday Oct. 13th. I might even do an EAT CAKE CARD. So be ready. I sure get teased about my EAT CAKE CARD. I'm going to do one for our STampin'Up Shoebox Swap in November because they teased me so much. So you never know when the EAT CAKE CARD might pop up. Bye Bye
Well, if Edith's doing another Eat Cake card, we're all in BIG trouble! LOL Can't wait to see everybody! Somebody please remind me to bring my camera this time! :-)
LOL Two years ago?? at a SWISS, Edith brought a card made with the SU set Eat Cake (p 62 of curent catalog). None of us could make it look as good as her sample! And we've never stopped teasing her about it. :-) I'll have to look around and see if mine is still in my craft room. (Yes, I'm a packrat.) Mine was probably among the worst--I did her card toward the end, and we were feeling a little rushed at that location.
Everybody--Thanks so much for today! I had a wonderful time, and I hope all of you did, too! The projects were great! Isn't it amazing how different all the cards and projects were? Don't forget to mark the second Saturday in April for SWISS 6!
My Cold medicine was apparently more potent than I thought and I can only identify 5 of the projects now that I am home...I am uploading the ones I know
I also didn't make the Big Blossom one :( so I don't have a pic of that one, but if someone emails me a pic I will upload it!

Hi Girls! I had a great time as always! Thanks for everything Amy! I can't wait to do it again. BTW, did anyone end up with an extra adhesive? It's blue and has SW written several places on top and bottom. I'm hoping it shows up...

Hi There Ladies,
I found out about SWISS from stampin spud @ Archiver's (Hi Kim!) and I'm looking forward to getting together in April and meeting ya'll.
Have a great 2008!
Hugs,
Tanya
Ok, the second week of April. Do we know if it's the weekend of the 12th or the 19th? I'd really like to try and make one of these! It would be great to meet many of you, some I've known online and go way back and some I already know in person and IRL.
Right now we're planning on April 12. We're evaluating some different location options, as Archiver's has changed their policies. We should know by the end of February exactly where we'll be.
Edith Stephenson, a fellow stamper and SU demonstrator has indicated that there is a shoebox swap in the near future at Archivers in Boise. Could you please provide me with the details, date, time, cost etc. and let me know if there is space available. I've tried in the past to participate but the dates have never worked out for me. Hopefully, this time it will!! Merine Heberger
I'm told there will be a contest at tomorrow's (4/12/0shoebox swap at Archivers but I can't seem to find the details. Would you please email them to me at [email protected]. Looking forward to meeting both of you!
