I am, I am.
I just got back to Idaho 2 1/2 weeks ago after being gone for 6 1/2 weeks. I'll be able to give you my "for sure" answer next week. My hubby's down in Texas right now going through his process to see if we'll be in or out of the military...moving or not moving. Send positive vibes his way...we want to stay in!!!
Hugs to all...
Tanya
I hope things are settling down a bit for you now! I am looking forward to meeting you in April!
Thank-you! Hubby just called. They post poned his hearing until Monday. Sorry to delay you a lil' longer...but he said we should know by Tuesday (one week from today) at the latest. My fingers, toes, arms, and legs are crossed, lol
Amy...guess what??? I GET TO GO!!! My hubby had his hearing and they changed their decision to medically discharge him from the military!!! We're doing the happy dance in our house! Please PM me your addy so I can send you a check:-D Now I need to get on here and figure out what a shoebox swap is, lol...never done one before. Looking forward to meeting everyone next month!
Ok, for everyone who is new and has been wondering. :-)
A shoebox swap means you bring your sample and a "shoebox" full of all the materials and tools to complete it! If we end up with 12 participants, you will need to bring a packet of supplies for each of them. For example, if I were making this card for SWISS, I would include a package of supplies (the package can be a clear envelope, a baggie or whatever) with simple directions and my Splitcoast name, all the cardstock pieces, the pop dots, and the ribbon. Then in my "shoebox" (can be any sort of container that works for you--photo storage boxes or a clear bin), I'd include the sample, tape for the ribbon, the punch, the stamps and inks. It's also nice to have a couple extra pieces of the "stampable" cardstock just in case someone messes up, but it's not necessary.
When you get to the swap, you'll find a place at a table to set up your stuff. Then you'll get started working on the other projects.
If you have any other questions, now is the time to ask! :-) It's fun, and please don't be stressed! You do not need to provide an envelope, just a full card or 3D project.
Are you from Boise????? How did I not know that? Yes, yes, there's room! :-)
I just found out myself when Lila stopped by Craft Warehouse about a week ago, she told me Lindsey just moved here! Very exciting news! Welcome to SWISS, Lindsey!
Please bring an extra completed sample of your card to go on our display. We'll pick a winner in at least 3 "secret" categories, and the winners will receive a special prize at SWISS! (Oh, and if you'd like to donate a new, craft-related doorprize, please contact one of us. :-) )
This way, we can also try (no promises) to get photos of the cards/projects uploaded to Splitcoast! Are you excited yet????
Location: Yup, that's me and WILLIE NELSON!!! (insert heart here!) :)

Ladies, I only have 9 payments in my hands. We have one week before the deadline (March 31). I have to pay Archiver's on April 1, so there won't be a way to let the payments slide in late. Please don't miss out!
Again, if you'd like to pay by check, please send me a pm (private message) or an email to [email protected] for my home address. The cost by check is $7.
If you'd like to pay by Paypal, please send $7.50 (the 50 cents just about covers the Paypal fee) [email protected] and put your SCS name in the comments box somewhere.
You're welcome. When will you let us know how many shoebox swaps to make? I'm so stinkin' excited...I wanna start them now, lol (now that I know I can go...hehe).
