Elizabeth, please add Debbie Riches...she responded with 26. Debbie Riches. She will now become #27. Debbie and Amy are friends of mine and Karen met them last month. Amy Meyers advised that she contacted you directly to have her added.

I was wondering that myself. I looked it up on line and it said "bump to top". I'm thinking people post that so this shows up on the boards as a recent post? I'll be interested to see what the answer is too.
My kits are going slower than I thought, but I'll get them done. My elbow has been bothering me and my regular doctor sent me to an orthopedic specialist. He diagnosed me with Tennis Elbow. I have been working with a brace on my hand and wrist that is supposed to help my elbow along with some steroids. I will be cheating at the swap and taking it off for that time. I am supposed to wear it even when I sleep. It stinks because it is on my dominant hand.
I am so looking forward to stamping with all of you this coming Saturday!!!! My card is designed and my dh has offered to help cut paper and put thread in buttons this week (he is such a great guy). Billie Dee--did you find the colors you needed? Chris, take it easy on that elbow this week--hope it heals quickly!
Robin -
I sure did! Can you guess my theme? I went with red, white and blue.
I'm almost done embossing. Everything is cut. THEN - I'll put the packets together.
Chris - I feel your pain. I contracted that nasty one year from - "continuous improper use of a mouse." Doc threatened me with a full-arm cast if I didn't keep the brace on. Good news - no problems since!
Great to hear your elbow healed Billie Dee. I'm really being good about wearing the brace even to sleep in so hopefully I will have as good results as you did.
Woo Hoo. Can't wait to see all of you beautiful ladies tomorrow and see all of the AWESOME cards that were created! FUN, FUN, FUN!
I'm off today and am making final inventory of what I have to bring. Making sure that I don't miss anything. Oh, just remembered I need to write out my instructions for my card and print my map.
Name tags are done...sorry, Karen, that I forgot to bring them to work yesterday...I left them on the table just as pretty as you please...and ran out the door trying not to be late for work in the deluge of rain coming down.
I agree with what Dina said. I think the cards were truly AWESOME this time...not to say they haven't been in the past. I feel that the creative juices were truly running for each wonderful lady. Can't wait to see what you come up with the next time.
Also, Blanca, Dina, Esther and Jan. I found your name tags in my chair. They must have slipped off the hanger sometime over the past couple of days and I didn't notice them when I left this morning. I just picked up the hanger and headed toward the car.
I'll get them to you. Blanca I will give to Karen and Jan, maybe we can meet for lunch on Thursday or Friday.
I truly had a wonderful time today! Thanks for my door prize, whomever brought it.
Karen and Elizabeth - What a wonderful experience! I love learning all the new techniques hands-on. You did a fabulous job with this Shoebox Swap. Thank you thank you!
Hi yall! Still catching up from a awesome Saturday! WE had so much fun and I agree. The cards were really amazing!! Lots of talent in the house!
It was so nice to meet new people and re-connect with seasoned ShoeBox Swappers. Thank you to everyone for participating and really working hard on designs that showcased different techniques and highlighted stamps in different ways.
I am finally getting a chance to write a big thank you to Karen and Elizabeth for hosting a wonderful card swap (it has been quite crazy lately). I had the most wonderful time at the swap, not only making the cards, but meeting some new people, learning some new ideas, and stamping with those from past swaps. All of the cards were wonderful!!!! I am looking forward to the next swap and if anyone wants to get together just to stamp for fun I would love to do that.
I know you're all thinking "Is she ever going to stop posting and let this thread join the archives?" Well, yes, but first - received my first set of stamps from Paper Makeup and I am in LOVE! And, yes, I bought the wet kitty, too.
