Oh, no - I didn't do card fronts. (I was just saying if it was SU stuff I would only be using it for a sample and really would only need a card front.) My question was more about if I should be providing envelopes for my cards as well. So yeah, will more people be using these things or keeping them for ideas?
hey everyone, do you mind if I ask what kind of project you are bringing Saturday? I am doing a little notebook ensemble, but I was wondering if it's going to be mainly CARDS or what? Just curious.
IF I could ask that no one do card fronts... I have no use for them and want to be able to use the stuff I am getting. I know it is last minute so if that is what you have already cut for then I guess that is what we will have to settle for but if you haven't cut, please don't just do a cardfront...
I feel your pain. I have more card fronts than I know what to do with. But what I do with them is just cut a "card" from white cardstock and glue the card front to it and voila, I have a card that I can use.
In fact, yesterday, I was able to add extra signing space to a card that I had made this way. My MIL's supervisor is leaving work and they wanted to give her a card. Because it was only a card front glued down I was able to glue some more cardstock to it so there was plenty of signing room.
 Just had to kid you - - - were you speaking UTAHN here????
Message to the rest of the group: This is a private joke between YuRee and me - - - but we'll be sure to explain it on Saturday! Topic for conversation!!
As far as envelopes.. I know most of the time we haven't had envelopes with our projects, so if you do bring them for all your cards, just know you won't get one for every card you make. If you wanted to bring them so you could coordinate YOUR envelopes to the cards you make that might be an option for you.
Do any of you all speak Utahn?? I didn't know that we had an accent but apparently we do.. Go figure.. Saturday is just around the corner!!!

Well I have done a card. At first after reading some I thought it was a project, but as I read further am realizing a project can be a card. See you all tomorrow!
Vicky

You asked what kind of project were bring to share. Note book sounds so nice. I wished I thought of that. Nothing too fancy. A cute girly card. But it does have glitter so it sparkles! Can’t wait to get to meet everyone tomorrow.
Directions to meeting place for the party bus: Meeting at 0830!! LEAVING at 0840!!
I believe that everyone that is riding is coming from the north so here are the directions:
If coming from 89 (Julie this is for you)..
Take the Layton/Clearfield exit that brings you past the front of the base (SR-193). Stay on that until you hit State Street. Turn left. Drive down state street (it turns into main street) until you PASS Antelope Drive. The next light is 1600 N. (master muffler on corner) turn right. The church is on the left about .15 miles.
Coming from Roy, Sunset, Clearfield:
If you want to take the interstate you can take the exit for Davis Hospital (I believe it is 332). Turn RIGHT at the end of the off ramp. Stay on Antelope until you hit main street (7-11 on your left). Drive to the first light which is 1600 (Master Muffler on corner). The church is about .15 miles down the road.
If not coming via interstate:
Drive down state street in Clearfield. It turns into Main Street right about Albertson's-until you PASS Antelope Drive. The next light is 1600 N. (master muffler on corner) turn right. The church is on the left about .15 miles.
Oh yeah- I will be bringing a cooler of ice if you want to put a beverage in it for the trip there or back!!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1) doorprizes- optional but if you want to go home with something, you must bring something.
2) Adhesive- Bring glue, tape, whatever you use to adhere stuff to use when you assemble the cards.. Each stamper must have their own adhesive.
3) Projects! Don't forget to double check your projects to make sure you have all the supplies needed. There is nothing more embarrassing than not having something you need. (trust me.. I have done that..)
4) $$$ We are getting the banquet room for free because we are purchasing their buffet. I believe it was $7.99 + tax and maybe + drink. We also need to have a dollar or so to leave the waitresses that are serving us.
Can't wait until we meet those of you who I haven't met and see those that I have met again!!

Thanks for adding that!! I was hoping everyone would remember this part! I want them to be HAPPY that we came and want us to come back again!!!
Also---I was just thinking----hmmmm.....do we need our own adhesive??? So---I'm glad to see that we bring out own!! SOOOO much easier than having to figure out what I'm going to leave with my swaps!
OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Just thought of something else!!! You DO speak UTAHN here!!! My kids were born and raised here---I was NOT. My son was telling me he took a tore of something and I couldn't figure out what he was saying (he's 17 so it's NOT like he's just learning to speak). I finally said......oh.....a T-O-U-R!!!!! HA! My other kids agreed with my son...it's a "tore"....like you tore some cardstock...only he was "tore-ing" the Tahitian Noni building. What have you done to my children?!??!?!?!?!

LOL!!!!
I'll have to think of some more Utah-isms........
Well there's always Clayt - on and butt - on and Layt - on. It's a T thing, have you noticed?
Are you crazy? 4! I stayed up until 1:00 and my little girl woke me up at 6:30, and I think I'm going to have to die. However I'll do anything for a good card! See you all there.
It was a great day!
Thanks to Julie and Stefanie for all their hard work.
Thanks to YuRee for driving the "fun bus".
Thanks to everyone for such fun projects!
See you at the next one!
Missi
