Hi Gals... Loving this weather. Funny to think that I came back to SUNSHINE in Whatcom County. They were having drizzly wet weather in Eureka -- but everyone was glad because the forests are too dry.
Have you invited any newbies to our party???
No-one is 'biting'! It must be this gorgeous weather we're having keeping people outside!! A few days of rain then they'll all be looking at SCS again!!!
Hi Garnet,
I would love to be added to the shoebox swap and 10 card swap. Is there a specific theme for either of these?
Oh yes, I'll have a sandwich please.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello Garnet- hope the "sitting" was fun- depending on their age, though, I doubt you were still very often
Just looked at the sign-up lists - we are going to have fun!! Lots of shoebox swaps too!
Just two weeks away!! My dh will be gone tomorrow night so I'm thinking that will be my chance to get my stuff ready. Cross your fingers!
Have a great weekend.
...and I had a very good time! DGD is now 4. She played Cinderella, so I was cast in the role of the Prince. Cinderella makes coffee, tea, cakes and all sort of good things from sand. Most of the time, "the Prince" only had to sit in the lawn chair in a warm sunny spot near the sandbox.
Tonight I MUST make my shoe-box swap. Planning to do a masculine style card. Then -- on to the ATCs -- I'm still thinking. Decisions, decisions! Why am I making this so hard?

Not sure if you received my reply to your PM several days ago so I'll post on here. I think I'd better order a sandwich 'cos my DH says I need feeding every four hours or I get 'crabby'!!!
Also I did ask about my shoebox swap, not sure whether to 'reveal' what I'd like to bring in case you don't feel it's suitable or 'flexible' enough! Please could you check your PMs and get back to me. Thanks so much.

We should all bring a hearty lunch or order a sandwhich- looking at that first thread tells me we're going to be busy, we'll need our strength!
Ruth... Just sent you a PM.
Martha... You can say that again. I seem to eat all the time. Maybe that's why I'm a "little" wider than I used to be?
Mary Ellen... Thanks. You're a good friend. I should start biking down the Beard Rd to see if it takes my mind off those sandwiches!
Hello Garnet, My friend Cindy will be attending with me. She would like to participate in the 10 card swap as well. We do not need a sandwich. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Just added another name to the "save for next party" list. Jael is a demo from Ferndale.
That's great! Maybe we could do another in late spring or something.
Here I am planning the next one and we haven't even had this one!
So, how are your swaps for this going? My shoe box is done but I still can't decide what I want to do for my full cards. May only do a few trading cards since there aren't many of us signed up for that.
Have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the sunshine!!
This morning I finally began to do actual *work* on my ATCs! Different than the brainwork that takes so much time.
I found a page that has a simple description along with a *bunch* of photos. Cedar Seed ATCs.
Also found a page that sells collage style rubber stamps. Some are especially sized for ATCs. Some are to stamp on the back with spaces to write in name, date and number. Collage Stuff.

These web sites are really cool! Thanks Garnet! I should get baggies for mine, but I do have the 9 pocket sleeves- robbed them from my son and his sports card collection.
Rosella and I will be coming together! She one of my cousins friends and my cousin is our demo too! Small world when it comes to contacts in the stamping forums! See you all soon! Just going to check out these sites you've posted.
PS SU has stamps in the new catty for stamping on the back of ATCs. I got some recently, they are almost pretty enough to make the ATCs with!

Cool! I will have to ask Mary Ellen about those. For now, I just set up a document on my computer with 6 ATC "backsides" on a page. Gives me the right size to cut them out too. Then I ran my glossy cardstock through the printer with the dull side forward.
As of today, we have eleven (11) people signed up for the ten (10) card swap. Hopefully a few of you have already made an extra one or two. I guess we will just swap "around" and see what happens.
BTW - I plan to go down and open the church at 9:00 a.m. If one of you would like to be my "assistant" for arranging tables, I am not so proud that I would turn down any help.
Hi Garnet,
I have a severe head cold and will not be able to attend your gathering tomorrow, 10/14. I am sorry to miss this great opportunity. Hopefully it will happen again. I was down for a swap and a shoe box swap.
