Hi Haylie,
I up in Carrollton, just north of Dallas. I've lived here about 20 years. I was born near Brownwood and moved all the way... to Dallas. I have 2 sons, 2 daughters in law, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and another grandson due in April. I'm an old child of God (since I was 12), wife to wonderful husband Ysavel and grateful to have my mom living with myself & husband. I'm very blessed! Stamping is so much fun to me. I just love it. I've been stamping about 10-12 years I guess. But I've been in a club the past 18 months & learned more & enjoyed stamping so much more because of all we've learned in the club. Marla

My sister, brother & I were all born in Laredo (dad in AF). He got out when I was a baby, so I can't count myself as a military brat. Moved to El Campo and Houston, then we settled in my dad's home town Newton (Southeast Texas). I've lived in several other places; all in Texas. Now I'm in Beaumont. Are there any other SCS's in my area? I would love to meet you. I know a few that are part of the SU demo group I'm in. Texas is a country of its own. We have all 4 climates. No other state can say that.
I'm here in Richmond, a suburb of Houston. Anyone wanna stamp?
Hi, Amy! I'm just up the road from you in Sugar Land!

OH, I'm glad this thread got bumped! I was in CO Springs, but moved to Longview, TX after DH deployed to Iraq to be with family. I'm going to have read through and see if there are any other gals in my neck of the wood. I would love to get together for a swap or just a day of stamping!
Thanks again to whomever rejuvinated this thread!
HAIL HAIL TEXAS!! ;;)

[QUOTE=agirlandaboy]I just found this part of the site...I just moved to New Braunfels, from Northern VA. [QUOTE]
Great thread!!
I'm in New Braunfels too!! I haven't made it through all the pages to see if there is anyone else...I did see a few San Antonio girls.
I was born out of state, but moved here at age 9. I grew up in San Antonio and in Bulverde, went to Southwest TX State for a couple of years, then transferred to a school in Clear Lake and ended up staying there for 10 years. I moved back "home" to New Braunfels in 2000.
Hey! I'm in Port Arthur. I know there is one more lady from Bmt. that has posted & another one from Orange. I guess all the other SE Texas girls (& I know there has to be more of us :-D ) haven't found us yet. I am not a demo, but heck yeah, we need to try to meet up!

New to stamping and to SCS...just found this thread. I am a 4th generation Texan (kinda proud of it! ). Born & raised in W. Texas...anyone ever hear of Snyder? Four years in Lubbock (go Red Raiders!), a couple of years in the Willamette Valley of Oregon (GORGEOUS country!), then back home to Texas, where my view wasn't blocked by all those trees!
Now in the Dallas area, where I swore I would never, but never, live. Raising my family in Allen now, and enjoying this new addiction to stamping! No plans to move out of Texas, but enjoy visiting other places.

I know, I know! Where Snyder is, that is! I'm from San Angelo, Denise. I live in DFW now, as well. If you want to get together and stamp or scrapbook sometime, let me know.
I am new to the forum and to stamping! I just signed on as a StampinUp! Demonstrator. (I had way too much fun at the parties and figure I can make new friends in this small town I just moved to) I hail from Mabank Texas which is 45 min SE of Dallas (mesquite, really)
I am 32, born and raised in Houston, parents still there (The Woodlands) and I get back down there often.
There seem to be SO many of us in the Dallas area! Do y'all ever get together??

me too, me too!!
I live in the south Fort Worth area. Anyone out there starting a new stamper's 10 group? Would love to join. Looking forward to meeting others in the area.
I just learned of this website from a Stampin' Up demonstrator.
I live in the Harker Heights area---that's a mosquito hair away from Killeen, Texas...home of Fort Hood.
I just got started stamping. I have been a counted cross stitch fan for many years. I completed a scrapbook about a dog that I owned for many, many years. He died suddenly; so I decided to try my hand at creating a scrapbook about his life. It turned out okay for a first timer.
Got to thank DYU for telling me about this link.
Are there any stampers or cross stitchers in my area?
I'm fairly new around here but I saw someone talking about a big shindig in Houston so I thought well surely someone here knows something? (hopefully!!)
I'm super excited to see you all here!!! I have been lost in the galleries for about three weeks... Someone send a search party! My very first thought when I came to this site was "OMG!!! REALLY OMG!!!" (I was looking for an idea for a unfrogettable stamp wow there were LOTS!!!) and I have been happily wandering around since then! ANYWAY I wanted to say hello to my fellow Texans and hope maybe I can make some new friends!!!:p Thanks for "listening"!

Hi, I'm from Orange just down the road. There are a few of us in the Golden Triangle area. Whose demo group are you in? I might have met you.
Good to have you in Southeast Texas.

I am down in Texas now! Been here since August 2006. My husband and I are living in Savannah, which is right inbetween Denton and McKinney. Also expecting our first baby in October. I would love to get together with you guys and scrap/stamp before the baby is born!

Hey, Texas Gals. I just ran into this funny quiz called "How Texas Are You". It made me laugh so hard! You can click more than one answer in each category. Unfortunately, I am only considered 20% Texan----which I suppose is good since I was born in England! Check it out:
